This happened 11/13/24 at around 5. I like the food at Cava, but the workers always make it a bad experience. The workers at Rancho always rush the process and they usually have a bad attitude. They are not friendly and don’t have good customer service whatsoever. The inconsistency in the portions and the attitude of the workers makes it hard to enjoy the food. It’s really hit or miss.

This one black woman with tattoos was working on my bowl and she only gave me 2 scoops of dips and when I politely asked for my 3rd scoop (since we are allowed 3) she was petty and barely gave me a half scoop. That’s completely unprofessional and unfair to me as a customer. So uncalled for.

Then, Dez at the register asked me to do a survey for her in exchange for a free drink. I remembered her from another time I came to Cava where she was extremely rude to my boyfriend and I. That time, she treated my bowl and my boyfriend’s bowl so carelessly and rudely throwing scoops of food into my bowl with attitude acting like she didn’t want to be there. I was going to leave a bad review on her that day, but I read through reviews on here saying that she was helpful, etc. That made me believe maybe she was having a bad day and I gave her the benefit of the doubt. However, today I learned that she earned all those “good” reviews because she bribes the customers to make good reviews for her to get a free drink because that’s what she did to me. I think it’s such a bad look on a company and an employee to handle it the way she did. She asked me to write her a review about the store and mention her; and she also made me show her my review before getting the drink to which she even posted it for me. I felt pressured to give her a good review because she stood over me peeking over my phone and she made me show her what I wrote so that she could submit it herself. That’s completely dishonest and out of line for a worker to do because I know she is not a good worker after the amount of times I’ve come in and seen her poor work ethic. Not a good look for the business overall. Do...

I’ve placed mobile orders at this location several times since they’ve opened. However, I’m reluctant to return after my most recent visit because of the complete lack of customer service.

On 9/12/24 I placed a mobile order at 12pm and had a pick up time of 12:30pm. I showed up early and hung out for a bit and then at 12:30pm I stood in the pick up area waiting for my order to be called out. And I waited... At 12:45pm after other orders had been called out, I asked an employee if she could make sure my order was at least in the queue. She took her time with checking and eventually told me “there’s too many orders to know.” That’s odd, because I placed my order 45 minutes ago and there’s still too many orders before me? I continued to wait and about 10 minutes later I told a different employee that I placed my order at noon and asked if it’s truly taking this long. She just said “yes it’s taking that long.” By then, people who placed mobile orders 30 minutes after me were getting their food. It’s not making sense and no one is trying to help me resolve the issue.

At 1:00pm my lunch hour is now over and I’m quite hungry. I asked for the manager and explained my situation and asked if they could simply make my meal right now because I could’ve waited in line three times by now and I was worried my order had been missed or taken.

The manager refused any sort of customer service. He said they were backed up and there was nothing they could do about that and that I could submit a complaint online. I asked for an ETA on my meal and he said he didn’t have one. After an hour I left with no food and feeling like an inconvenience to the staff.

I submitted my complaint to corporate and they quickly refunded and credited me, but the complete lack of customer service at the Rancho location does not make me want to return. The food is great. I guess I’ll save my credit for...

I was here for their pre-grand opening last summer but haven't really been back until I was able to convince my husband to try it. He's been asking for healthier options but was under the impression that their bowls were so small and wouldn't fill him up.

They open at 10:45am which is an odd time lol but I came here with him on a Saturday right when they opened. We ordered from their set menu (Harissa Avocado and Greek Salad) and my husband makes a couple alterations to his. Some of their menu items are just okay. We enjoyed them and the next thing you know he wanted to come again.

The next time we got another bowl from their menu Chicken+RightRice. The first two times we ordered in person. Depending on who is in front of you, it can be a slow process as people can be indecisive.

So it's become a thing now where my husband asks if I want Cava for dinner during the week days. The next three times I've ordered on the app and he will pick it up on the way home from work. We finally got it down now and order custom Greens + Grains bowls and the toppings to our liking . The bowls are yummy and actually very filling. Now I'll order from the app and we go there to lock up and will eat on their outdoor patio which is also dog friendly by the way. On average for two bowls, I'll spend about $27-$28 (no drinks) which isn't too bad considering we're spending over $40 for two people these days at other places with inflation.

Sometimes the garbage outside is overflowing and they need to wipe down the drink station and tables more often so they may be short-staffed but overall we've received...

First time at Cava! A few friends and I came here after the gym on a Saturday around 12:35 PM. The line was long, but it moved pretty quickly, so don’t let it scare you away! It’s a Mediterranean, Chipotle-style eatery, and since it was our first time, the staff was super helpful with explaining the menu and guiding us through our orders. I ordered the Steak + Harissa bowl with a few personal touches: Grilled Steak, Crazy Feta®, Red Pepper Hummus, Tomato + Onion, Cucumber, Feta, Cabbage Slaw, and Greens with Harissa Vinaigrette. I substituted white rice for brown and added Feta cheese and lemon herb Tahini. It was delicious and well worth the visit! Note that there’s an extra charge for certain proteins; steak and others cost $3.79 extra, while regular grilled chicken, falafel, or grilled vegetables are included. Before ordering, I downloaded the Cava app to start earning points for discounts on future meals, which is a nice perk. There was plenty of seating, both inside and outside. I just got a cup for water, but they offer a variety of interesting soft drinks, teas, and lemonades. Customer service was friendly and efficient, and the restaurant was clean, though we did wipe our table down ourselves since it was busy. Parking was easy since it’s located in the same shopping center as Aldi, Barnes & Noble, Seafood City, Daiso, and Juice It Up, right off Foothill Blvd. Overall, a great spot with fresh flavors and good vibes—I’ll definitely be back!

I’m so over this location of cava. I love the brand and I love their food. However, this location continues to get it wrong. Since the store opened, I continued to experience horrible customer service and just because of that I started to place my orders online and pick them up in store. However, my online orders continued to be wrong. I’ve experienced uncooked lentils. I’ve experience receiving the wrong orders and more! I’ve ordered DoorDash and I’ve bought multiple drinks and did not receive the drinks. When it comes to customer service alone it’s horrible and the food is amazing but this location does not get it right and for that I’m giving off no stars and I’m completely dissatisfied. I’ve raved about the food especially the lentils, to so many people. But because of the lack of service I continue to receive I can’t even enjoy my meals that I purchase. I would rather wait for another location to come than to continue to deal with this. The uncooked lentils drew the line for me and it genuinely felt like the location doesn’t care anymore because at first it was a service then it was my fallen orders and now it’s the actual food and it makes me not want to return. Ever since the store has open I’ve tried to give it a chance after chance after chance and at this point, I’m done. It makes me very sad that I’d rather wait for another location to open and hope for the best than go to the one closest to me.

Wasn’t too impressed. It was my first time visiting this restaurant after a few friends recommended it. I ordered the falafel salad the dressing was bland I ended up not adding the dressing to my salad and eating it with no dressing. Nothing was great that makes me want to go back. Every table was dirty and not wiped down. We wiped our own table to eat. I had to use the restroom before driving back home 30 minutes away and there was no toilet paper no paper towels and the floors had piece of paper on the floor. I won’t be visiting this place again. Second visit 5/16/2024 Went in a 2pm it was a little busy. But employees did not greet customers and seemed like they want to rush you along so I and up getting stressed trying to build my bowl…. Once I ordered, I wanted to find a table literally every single table in the restaurant was dirty so we ended up having to just sit on it dirty table because all the employees were so busy making bowls so there’s no The dining area then I wanted to wash my hands before eating since we just left the mall and the bathrooms were a mess NO toilet paper!!!!!. There were no seat covers trash on the floor and the paper towel. Trash cans were overflowed. I won’t be visiting this location again I will go to Chino hills better and cleaner restaurant
