I usually wouldnt waste my time with a review unless i felt strongly. Visited this DD at 1830 on 12/3/16. I ordered a smoothie for my daughter at drive thru...waited 8 minutes and nothing. I went inside to facilitate. I got blank stares after i asked how long the smoothie would take. Finally one of the three bumbling employees began moving in the right direction. She prepped the machine and...nothing. Stood there for another 5 minutes. I then asked if there was a problem and was told they cant find the vanilla ice cream.(baskin robbins is attached) More blank stares...until I asked for my card to be refunded. One of the shining stars then pressed a button on the register saying "i aint a manager so i cant do nuthin". By this point, the only one who seemed to be registering the situation in his brain housing group called a manager(not sure but would think DD would have a manager on duty at all times for this exact reason but then again i dont own the place). The manager via phone indicated i should come back tomorrow so my card can be credited. I was stupefied. More blank stares out of the staff. Read moreOK I went through the drive thru in Raleigh, NC off of Durant Rd- I am an avid coffee drinker-I bought a large dark roast coffee which has great flavor. As soon as I sit the coffee in the cup holder I could smell it was burnt. I said something to the guy at the window and he stated OH no its not burnt its just strong. NO it was burnt. 20 minutes on a burner and coffee acquires a burnt smell and taste. I had to throw it out. I get to WV and go through the drive thru at Hedgesville, 4x-we are out of powdered cream filled donuts at 8 am. They only get so many. Well obviously there is more of a demand for them if you've run out every day for months. I then finally got one. to bite into it and get a long hair in my mouth. Wherever you bake these (-I do not believe is on site any longer) , but aren't they required to wear hair nets, or check their clothes for hair This grossses me...
Read moreI can't say I ever really have a constant experience here. I have my usual order of a small caramel ice coffee with extra and extra sugar. Sometimes there's not enough cream, sometimes there's not enough sugar, and sometimes it lacks both. On the other hand I have had a heaping cup of diabetes, meaning WAY to much cream and/or sugar. I understand these mistakes and have them corrected. Today the cashier/server had no clue what she was doing. We had to repeat an order several times just to have her read it back incorrectly. That we can understand, and correct. What we DO NOT understand is how we can order a 10 count box of munchkins, when I started to give them out to my kids, we discovered there was only NINE. How hard is it to count to 10? Really?? I know it may seem like a small thing, but to a pair of small children, it is quite a large argument. One that didn't...
