We are foodies with taste buds of Mumbai+Ahmedabad+Delhi. We love chatpata and spicy food and prefer authentic Indian chaats over fusionated stuff. Just to set the right background.
We were recommended this place by a friend who grew up in Delhi that offers savory chaat dishes. We tried several items to just to get the hint of the place and we were blown away by the taste of the food, their customer service and their eagerness to take the feedback to improvise.
Paani Puri - Will start with a flagship item of any Desi Indian taste buds. We consider this a hallmark of chaat. I will give it an impressive 9/10 for the mint water (Paani) that came so close to perfect that we can claim to have found the alternatives for "Apna chaat" in Surrey. We can consider it close to Elco market or street side Manek chowk taste. Highly recommend it.
Dahi Puri - We asked to make it custom spicy with thai green chilli with equal portion of sweet and green chutney with extra portion of Dahi and my goodness it came out just perfect - 10/10. Loved everything.
Masala sandwich - 10/10. They offer white and wheat bread. Be careful if you ask for healthy wheat option as it changes the taste. Stick to original style and you will get an original taste. Make sure not to forget to say Cheese! - THE Amul Cheese!
Chole/Paneer Burger/Paratha/Kathee Roll - Great taste again. Will give 9/10. Make sure to custom order it to your taste. I like mine with extra green chutney and spicy. They will honor your taste buds to perfection.
Kadak chai - What a refresher and a pleasant way to end the meal with their kadak chai. We believe, we were served the rarity in Indian tea in a long time. Perfect blend of cardamom reminded me of a specific place on Baroda-Ahmedabad highway that served this great taste. I recommend them to also offer Ginger tea (with lots of ginger) that we are very fond of.
It also came to us with a pleasant surprise that they do catering for the same chaat menu along with eggs/eggless cakes and can recommend several great options for your next birthday/graduation/celebration parties.
Make sure to try them and make your own judgement. You won't regret it. Perhaps it saves you a trip to Surrey's Agarwal Sweets.

Read more"I recently visited Chatpata by Kanishka, and I must say, their vada pav and aloo patty burger are absolutely delightful! The vada pav was perfectly spiced, and the pav was soft and fresh. The aloo patty burger was a pleasant surprise, with a crispy patty and a flavorful combination of spices. Both dishes were served hot and were incredibly satisfying. The menu is very attractive & tempting and it will really take you a while to decide on what not to take 😉
The best part of this place is that they are open on all 7 days and on weekends (Friday-Sat-Sunday) until midnight.
So now no one can stop you from a late night Chai and Vada pav (Not to forget they are bringing in maggi very soon too 😋)That chai tapri feel 😉 Omg now I am craving for Bada pav 🤤
My only concern about this place is Its a small place (Size wise) and I really worry that once people know about it we might just be able to have take aways 😀
