This shop is a gem and I was thrilled to learn about it. I stopped by in advance of the renaissance faire for some pieces to complete my outfit. The shopkeeper was extremely helpful. She helped me find a couple pieces that might work. That said, I felt rushed, tried them on over my clothes, and hurried to check out. Upon getting home I discovered that the most expensive piece didn’t fit as well as it seemed while in the shop.

The very next day, I went back to the shop and talked to the woman at the front desk about exchanging the items. She was absolutely fine with it, told me to grab something else, and it wouldn’t be an issue. I took my time, found something that I was absolutely thrilled about, and checked out.

This brings me to today, we returned the items and there was now an issue. The owner did eventually give us ½ of what the difference was but I’m pretty disappointed. I would have been entirely happy with store credit - $40 in store credit and we’d be renting every dress-up event and holiday.

If you are in the market for a costume rental, this place IS awesome. The owner and employees are passionate and they have outfits for every occasion. I recommend bringing any pieces from home you want to build off of to try on with your rental and absolutely make sure what you rent actually fits, there won’t be any wiggle room and, personally, that doesn’t make me feel very appreciated as a customer.

Don’t bother with spirit or party city, this needs to be your go-to costume/cosplay store! Convenient location and endless options for nearly any kind of costume, with a truly amazing staff that is eager to help you with any request. The things you find here are great quality, with very fair prices for purchasing— many options are available to rent if you just need it for a night or two as well!
