Daman's Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Redmond

I had a very disappointing experience with a bartender named Bria, who was extremely rude. I’m not sure if it was because we are Asian, but I felt that there might have been some racial bias involved. From the moment we walked in, she exhibited a dismissive and unfriendly attitude towards us. I’ve visited this place several times before, and the blonde-haired bartender was always very friendly, which is why I came back. However, this time, the experience was far from what I expected. I brought my own food with me but, being considerate, I offered to move to an outside table. Bria then approached us in a very impolite manner and told us that we couldn’t eat there. I assure you, if she had addressed us with a better attitude, I would have complied with her request without hesitation. Unfortunately, from the very beginning, her attitude was terrible. When I tried to communicate with her, she repeatedly interrupted me and raised her voice, which made me feel bullied. I will not be coming back. There we were, on a late night bar hopping friday. We reach our final destination for the night, Damiens Sports Bar. Hoping to finish off a successful friday night our buzz would soon be slapped and spit on. We get there, immediately sit at the main table and await for service. 10 mins pass, and the waitress continues pouring her life to a customer. Wanting to save our buzz, we try to get the attention of another bar tender. Unfortunately for us, she was tending her very best friends who were greeted by cheers and confetti (far contrast from our non acknowledgment). Our buzz was on critical condition. At one moment we thought we were about to be saved as the 1st server was coming our way. However, her sadistic nature saw no limit. She saw our dying buzz, looked it straight in its eyes, took a sip of her drink, and left it to die. defeated, I went to the bathroom before leaving. I’ve been here a few times now and it’s quickly become one of my favorite spots. They always have a solid selection of beers on tap, and it’s nice that there are plenty of screens showing different sports so you can keep up with whatever game you’re into. On top of that, there’s a jukebox, pool tables, and even karaoke nights, so there’s always something going on besides just hanging at the bar. The food is exactly what you want from a place like this—tasty, filling, and perfect for pairing with drinks. Don’t expect anything fancy or over the top, but it definitely hits the spot every time.

There’s also an area in the back I haven’t explored yet, but judging by the rest of the place, I’m sure it’s just as good. What really makes this bar stand out, though, is the people. The staff is consistently friendly, fast, and welcoming, and the locals make it feel like you’re part of the community, even if it’s your first time visiting.
