Although I don’t normally write reviews, I feel it is my responsibility to report what happened here today;
Ordered pizza for pick up, nothing special just a large pizza. Walked in the store, pizza was ready and in the heated fridge thing. The girl (15-16yrs old?) is helping another man (who happens to be grossly drunk). Whatever.
She tells him she can’t get into the computer and needs to wait for manager to get out of the bathroom (which annoyingly took quite some time for her to explain both due to her quiet and spacey voice and his total inebriation).
P.S. it is dead silent in the building. Nobody speaks, no music, no dishes clanging or pizzas being made. It was very creepy and uncomfortable.
While we’re waiting the girl takes my pizza out of the warmer and hands it to me so that I can hold it while we continue to wait. Awesome. Manager comes out of bathroom and fixes the problem and walks away. Seconds later the girl says she doesn’t know how to do this or that. Finally I say “can you put my pizza back in the warmer while I stand her so it doesn’t get cold?” She carelessly slings it back into the warmer. Finally, about 15 minutes after I get there, the drunk man gets his order in and now she is ready to take my payment.
The order is $10.99. I give her a $20. My change should then be $9.01. They are all out of $1s. The girl walks away from the OPEN REGISTER to go find the manager again. No employee anywhere nearby while the register sits open. Manager hobbles back and says “uhhh ok” and walks out of the restaurant. A few minutes later she comes back with (5) $1s and I get my chance. The register has been open this whole time.
At no point after the initial interaction did I expect my pizza to be hot or even warm. It wasn’t, of course, and it was also chewy and cardboardy. It wasn’t even cut. And my pizza was literally the only one they had on their screen to make.
Not a single person in that building should be given the responsibility or be allowed to work there or handle money or speak to customers. It was mind blowing.
I’ve never witnessed so much concentrated incompetence in my life and you bet I will be sharing this with corporate. Every step they took was belligerent and against company policy at the least. It took every ounce of self control to keep my mouth shut. What good would it have done?

Read moreI placed an order online for carry out before doing some last minute errands. I admit I placed the order at 7:40 not knowing it was going to take me until 8:25 to get there as i was held up. We arrived with the door locked and just a note posted saying they were closing early at 8 pm. This, again, is fine, but no one called me at all to notify me of this tight time frame as I was in the area and could have detoured to pick the pizza up first if they were concerned. Instead, while I appreciate the manager for allowing us to still come in and retrieve our order, the atmosphere felt antagonistic as she told me my order had been in the warmer for over an hour which is not true as I have my order confirmation time to prove it as well as the pick up time.
She then said she had just voided it and seemed annoyed I even came in to try and get it. I work and manage in food service and I understand some things are above personal control, but this was extremely poor service and communication with the customer. I would have easily gone out of my way to pick up the order ahead of time if someone had called me to 1. Notify me of the early closing time, and 2. That my order was sitting too long and would not have been unable to be kept for much longer. Instead, assumptions were made when my number is on file and I will probably not order from this location for a long while.
I also want to iterate that I didn’t pick up the pizza before my errands because it had a better chance of keeping warm inside the store rather than in the back of my air conditioned car, but if it was such an inconvenience, i should have been notified before the order was cancelled, before the store closed at its earlier time, or before the food was too old for their policy standards, not as I arrive to pick it up. My husband, a past Pizza Hut employee, also agrees this was a very poorly handled situation and, though I hate to write reviews like this, hope it reaches upper management to prevent further miscommunications from happening in the future. I hope to return to this location with a better...
Read moreThe last 2 times I have ordered from this location have been less than positive. The first time, AFTER my order was placed and thought it was going to be on the way soon, I received a call with them saying they couldn't deliver it as requested. I would have to come pick it up. I said "ok.I'll be there in about 5 minutes." I get to the restaurant and find out they had given my order to someone else. Had to sit there while they re-made my order. They refunded the cost of my order, but it was never about money. Today, I placed an order that was supposed to be here by 4:20pm. At 4:35pm I called only to find out that you can't complain until it's 30 minutes late. My order finally arrived at 4:47. They leave and when I open the box, I find there are NO sauces. We ordered the big dipper which is made without sauce. The sauces are supposed to be included in the box. I call back to this store and I'm told it will probably be 30minutes or more before they can bring them. If I wasn't sick with the flu, I would go down there and get them myself! I think this poor customer service is not a fluke thing. I'll have to think long and hard before I opt for this restaurant again. Guess Dominos or Round Table will be getting my business. UPDATE: They NEVER came back with...
