Maybe Mexican food from San Diego is so much better due to its proximity to the Mexico border....haven't found any restaurants that have caught my attention since working outta town....was very disappointed with my surf and turf burrito I had for dinner after an eleven hour shift...not more than 4 shrimp in my burrito, and upon entering after stepping out briefly....I'm pretty sure i saw him eat one of the shrimp his apprentice was grilling for my $11.00 burrito...jaw dropping....ended my evening with stomach cramps and no sleep.... Another favorite is the Nopales taco with cactus, sour cream and other delectable flavors that work well together.
