Came here for Sunday brunch because I craved American style breakfast and I wanted to try a new restaurant (not our typical one). This was a bas idea… The place was half full but the service was slow. Servers was not particularly rude, but they served with a frown, rather a smile. And, I don’t like that they put the receipt on my table when I haven’t finished yet. We ordered the classic, Bacon with two eggs and hash browns, with a side of white toast & jam, and Chef’s crepes (basically it was just ham, sausage, bacon, onions, mushrooms & cheese) and with a side of 2 eggs (costed $4). The classic breakfast was fine, you could not go wrong with bacon and eggs, but the hash browns could be better. The only good was the white toast. For the crepes, I could only say we have has better crepes than this. The side potatoes was bad. They said .Crunchy. potatoes, but these were nowhere near crunchy. Overall, bad experience during my first time to...
Read moreMy daughter and I came here for breakfast. It was our first time, so I did not know what to expect. It sure didn't take me long to decide what time order. One of my favorite breakfasts is huevos rancheros. It has been quite a while since I had huevos rancheros with a side of pico de gallo. Another favorite was the loco moco.
Eats: huevos rancheros; beverage, Arnold Palmer. My breakfast was on point and muy bueno. The "palmer" was refreshing - nice balance of iced tea and lemonade.
My daughter had French toast and sausage. She must have enjoyed her breakfast because she certainly did not talk much and finished eating before I did.
Service was excellent. The waiter was attentive and pleasant. He was engaging in conversation.
Ambiance: well lit restaurant, and very clean, comfy and casual. Dining experience was wonderful. Restaurant has indoor and outdoor dining. Street...
Read moreThe “seasonal fruit” crepe was a big disappointment. The crepe was good flavor but the fruit on the inside was just a weird and lazy choice. Uncooked chopped up apple pieces were 90% of the fruit inside, then some cantaloupe, and a few strawberries and bananas. The apple had almost no flavor, at least cook the apple in cinnamon, and the cantaloupe was a weird addition, those fruits don’t stick to a crepe so when taking a bite they would all fall out to, at the end I just left a pile of apples and cantaloupe as well. Such a weird choice to put in a crepe and really made me think no cook or someone who genuinely respects their food would do this to a crepe. Luckily the crepe batter was nice and whip cream too. Also not giving just a one star because atmosphere is nice with the outdoor seating and oj...
