One of the worse food experiences in my life. Our order was: calamari, polenta, veal saltimbocca and linguine with clams. The calamari were obviously frozen given their tender consistency and lack of taste. Polenta was ok, but adding feta on top is really not Italian. Veal saltimbocca tasted of condensed broth, trick cheap restaurants use to mask the freshness and taste of ingredients and preparation. The pasta with clams was the worse and potentially the most dangerous for your well being: it tasted also like condensed broth and had a lot of extra clams off their shell that were obviously added after from maybe not fresh seafood preserves. The clams were off their natural shape and potentially the condensed broth taste covered the not freshness of the seafood which could cause serious illnesses. i am myself from Italy and they cannot easily trick me on food. Perhaps more vulnerable/less experienced customers will be caught into the trap. If you are not willing to respect the Italian standards of food quality and tradition do not be on the market and charge like an authentic italian restaurant. You are screwing the Italian food credibility by doing that. For the records, we got charged 100$ which in many other real italian places would provide you a real...

Unfortunately my friend left his jacket behind in the restaurant, we realized this about 30 minutes or so after we left the place. When we realized what we had done we called the restaurant back and asked them if they could hold onto the jacket until we returned. After a few minutes we were told that the jacket was gone, which we found curious as we were the last customers to leave the restaurant after lunch that day. The next morning I called them back and again asked about the jacket, informing the staff that this lost jacket did in fact belong to an off duty Redwood City Police Officer who would be coming in later, on duty this time, to get his jacket back. A few hours later the jacket magically reappeared. Great food yes, values and...

Our party of four dined at this restaurant on a Friday evening in November 2023. We all had an array of different starters and main courses.

We were warmly greeted upon arrival and shown to our table straight away. The service was attentive and never intrusive. The ambience was delightful.

The food was cooked perfectly, fresh and full of flavour and taste. I had the fish of the day as my main course and this was Alaskan Halibut - it was presented in a light sauce and served with vegetables. Cooked to perfection and I thoroughly enjoyed it. A good sized portion and the vegetables balanced the flavours nicely. My Carpaccio starter was perfect too. Others in my party were equally complimentary about their respective dishes.

The four of us shared two desserts which was a crème brûlée in my case and this was great. There was no room left for dessert wine or coffee.

One of my favorite Italian spots in the bay area. You can't go wrong with any of the appetizers. We usually get scallops, scampi, and clams. Their pastas are cooked perfectly and you have a great selection of rich sauces. The vegetables are bright without being overpowering and there's a large selection of wines and mixed drinks to go with your meal. Free bread is both delicious and filling, so we usually don't have enough space left for dessert. All the staff is really friendly and you can choose from indoor or outdoor seating.

Clam appetizer and Risotto with chef's choice of fish. The appetizer was good. Lots of clams, both with the shell and without. A pink sauce with tomato chunks. Next time I'll try something different. The risotto had 4 perfectly grilled shrimp, chunks of fish, veggies, mushrooms, and more. However, I couldn't really taste a risotto, more like a rice dish. Good but not what I was expecting. I also tasted my wife's side plain risotto. That one was very cheesey and very good. Service was great. I'll try it again.
