Food was delicious! We got a list of appetizers, bruschetta with local crab (which I can’t have because of a shellfish allergy) but was told was very fresh and delicious. Blackened scallops, the arancini which were perfectly fried with a red sauce. The burreta was our favorite appetizer with delicious cheese, very refreshing roasted cherry tomatoes and fresh bread. For my meal I had the jammin smash burger which had bacon jam and garlic aioli sauce on a double patty. Burger was perfectly cooked and the bacon jam and garlic aioli gave it a very good pop of flavor. With how good the food was this place deserves a 5* however the service was quite interesting with our waiter only giving us maybe 1-2 seconds to respond before disappearing into the night. And at one point even leaving mid conversation while ordering drinks which was quite strange. Either way your serving experience may be different and would still recommend this nice spot on rehobeth ave with delicious eats and quite good drinks.

My husband originally ordered the Chicken Barrio Bowl and I went with the Chicken La Playa Bowl. The waiter later came back to let us know they only had enough rice for one bowl, so I switched my order to the Blackened Fish Tacos. After we’d all finally placed our orders, the waiter returned again to explain that there was officially no more rice at all since another table had ordered it, so my husband had to change his order as well. He went with the Tequila Lime Chicken BLT instead. He also tried to order a Guinness, but unfortunately, they didn’t have that available either. That being said, the food we did receive was delicious, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the service was excellent. Our waiter was super friendly and handled everything with grace—it definitely wasn’t his fault they were out of certain items. We still had a great time and look forward to coming back to finally try the bowls next time! *Note we ate dinner in September off - season on a Monday.

Stopped in last week on our vacation to Rehoboth. Wanted to try it because the summer berry salad sounded amazing. Well it sure was! We had no wait since we were okay sitting at a high top in the bar area. We had Katelynn(sp?) as our server and I’m pretty sure she was bartending as well. She was very sweet and accommodating when I asked for my watermelon crush to be made “skinny” . The crush was so refreshing! I had the summer berry salad for my entree and added the seared scallops. They were the perfect addition to the salad. Fresh, not fishy, cooked perfectly. My mom had the tequila lime chicken sandwich which I sampled and the chicken was AMAZING! Wish we could have sat outside and enjoyed the view but the weather had other plans. Overall a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. We will be returning on future trips! Keep up the great work!

I have only written one other review in my entire life, but 302 Social Eatery and Barroom at 70 Rehoboth Ave in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, is so exceptional that I felt compelled to take the time to share my experience.

From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by General Manager Cody Jones, whose presence and hospitality immediately set the tone for the evening. His passion for providing an outstanding dining experience is evident in every detail, from the ambiance to the impeccable service.

Speaking of service, our server, Kat, was nothing short of phenomenal. Attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly, she made us feel like old friends rather than just guests at a restaurant. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she ensured our evening was nothing less than perfect.

As for the food—wow! Every dish was crafted with care, bursting with flavor, and served with a touch of warmth that reminded me of my little Italian mother’s home cooking. The menu offers something for everyone, but no matter what you order, you can tell that quality ingredients and a love for great food are at the heart of every plate.

The atmosphere is just as inviting as the food. Cozy yet lively, it strikes the perfect balance between upscale and comfortable, making it a place you want to return to again and again. Whether you're looking for a fun night out with friends, a romantic dinner, or just a place to unwind with a great cocktail, 302 Social delivers in every way.

If you're in Rehoboth Beach and haven’t experienced 302 Social yet, do yourself a favor and make this eatery your choice. This place isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an experience, and one that I’ll be coming back for time and time again.

Five stars just don’t seem...

I am not one to write reviews but feel the need to share my recent experience at 302.

I visited 302 with my boyfriend and family after the fireworks on July 5th. We are all Delaware locals, and enjoy trying new restaurants and supporting local businesses in the area. Our group spent the day working and then we all rushed over to see the Rehoboth fireworks (which did not disappoint).

Upon entering 302, there was a small man with a mustache who claimed to be the manager, who began to scream at my party as we entered the front door. We were holding two beach chairs and the manager demanded that we get out of the restaurant with beach chairs. He then told his staff to tell us to leave as we had beach chairs in our hands.

We were really taken back by this man’s behavior as this is the way we were greeted when we first walked in the door. His attitude was very condescending and it was a horrible first impression.

I understand that it was late at night and I’m sure the restaurant was busier than usual (due to the fireworks), which can cause some added stress on the staff, however, this is no excuse to scream at potential customers as they walk in the front door.

To the owners, if you read this review, I’d encourage you to talk to this man who manages your business at night. He could use some training on how to treat customers as they enter your business. No one in my party drinks alcohol. We decided to go down to Summer House where we spent quite a bit of our hard earned money. In fact, the manager there welcomed us in with our beach chairs and even let us store the chairs behind their front counter while we...

We were seated and offered drinks. Then we waited for more than a half hour for our food during which time our waitress never checked in on us. Other customers who were seated after us got their food before us. Utensils were delivered after our food finally came. When my husband’s chicken wrap came it was mostly lettuce. My Burrata came with the three little strips of toast, not enough to even finish eating the burrata. I asked for more toast and was told there would be an up charge. For TOAST. The toast never came. My husband went to the manager and he argued with us. Told my husband he obviously didn’t understand the restaurant business (he does) and that’s just the way it is. The place has terrible management and terrible service. They took a beer and a sandwich off the bill but weren’t sorry and were rude about it. We ran into another couple who ate there at the same time and they run another area restaurant and saw what happened and were appalled. They also had a terrible experience with both food and service. Don’t go...
