1st time here...server had attitude, ordered a shellfish "chowder", which looked and tasted like ckn broth w seafood added. Chowders literal definition is a "thick and often creamy soup or stew". By the time the server, who paid far more attention to a larger group returned, 20 mins had passed and my date was 2/3 done w their food. We tried several times to get servers attention to no avail...and this place was dead, not busy at all. No manager ever came to check in afterwards, and servers response was "oh, sorry". Will NEVER go here again, and will most certainly not recommend to my renters either. Update Server brought the check and mentioned that "I emoved the soup because the label chowder was confusing, so you won't have to pay for that." As if I would've when it was misadvertised and I didn't eat it. Wow, smh
updatex2 She again approached, asked to pay while watching me, when i listed no tip, she stated "so was everything ok other than the food that i took off your bill?" In a really nasty tone. So i respinded, "it took you 15 mins to check back, despite us trying to get your attention"...she cuts me off and lied stating she did check back...she didnt. Based on this, I absolutely will never rec this place, which is sad because other reviews seem good...guess our server was more interested in the...
Read moreThe good things first. The waiter was very friendly. The place looks nice. The ingredients of the foods I tried were top notch that's why I was expecting really good food but......now the bad things, the way they were prepared, either the guy in the kitchen was new and they used him because it was a Sunday noon, off season or he had a really bad day.
80% of the flatbread was burned on the bottom. I basically mostly ate the topping. Wings with there signature sauce were so salty I couldn't eat them and had to return them. The new wings were completely dry, I'm not exaggerating. I didn't want to make a scene so I just took them home and basically threw them away. I mean I can't complain about everything it makes me feel uncomfortable. Steak sandwich was good Irish potato chips with topping. Chips were soaked in oil (I can live with that) and the cheese that was on top of it wasn't even melted. We were the only people in there eating. It's not like he didn't have time to leave the food in the oven for a little longer.
It's sad that they have such a bad cook because you can tell by the ingredients that the person who created the dishes...
Read moreI go to this place a lot late night after work because I get off late and they are open until 1 am. My favorite drink to get here is the pomegranate martini. It is a little tart but absolutely delicious. I tried a sampling of all their sours last visit and found a new one that i like. They have an extensive draft menu featuring local craft beers. I think there was around 22 to choose from.
All the food I've tried has been above average for pub food. Their menu offers appetizers (the pretzels are my favorite), as well as flatbreads, wings, burgers and cheesesteaks, mussels, salads, and a few entrées. I have tried the salmon and it was quite tasty.
The staff here is friendly and efficient. They always greet me with a smile. I know they have live music on a couple days each week. There is outdoor seating available when the weather permits. Also, during football season they have the games on with sound.
If you are in Rehoboth and looking for a beer and some good pub food that is open late, this would be my first recommendation. You will definitely have...
