There are far too many tourist traps, sports bars, and so-so seafood restaurants in town, Aroma is the very Best, They raise the bar for what it means to Offer up traditional food that’s true to Heart Harkening back to the Homeland of these Absolutely incredible, superiorly talented Hard working men and women who make Aroma a place we’ve loved revisiting for years, they’re consistent, the Kabobs are divine, the baklava is out of this world, and the owners should be very proud of themselves for doing one thing, and doing it well…. Top notch Food at affordable prices with Exceptionally perfect portions, You’ll never leave Here hungry that’s for sure, Yuri the Manager / Owner is World Class…. My work has brought me all over the world and it’s rare you’ll find someone as genuinely exceptional as him, He’s a master class in What it means to Deliver on the promise for Incredible Quality, fair prices, and great service, He is truly too notch and should be very proud of himself, Because everyone we’ve ever talked to or brought along with us has absolutely Loved Aroma, In fact, We’ve been known to visit from PA, and Only stay for the weekend, it’s not unusual for us to visit Aroma twice in a weekend, When you Hear places that the locals know about, sure, they’ll send you to lots of other places, because they know The best kept secret is Aroma and they’ll often keep a good thing like this to themselves, so, I’m Here to tell You, if you’re reading reviews, chances are you’re on the fence and have a few places in mind, Take my advice and choose Aroma over the Awful Sports bars and tourist traps or Seafood places that Couldn’t tell you the first thing about where the fish came from or who delivered it to the beach, or how it was handled inbetween, Aroma is a feast for the senses, From the moment the super friendly staff welcomes you in, You’ll sit for a feast for the senses, The Appetizers are plentiful, the dips like the hummus and carrot & their eggplant dips have all be tried, enjoyed, and ordered again by us, The Chicken Kebabs and Branzino are unparalleled, the drinks are awesome, I’ve never had a better tea anywhere in the world, and The desserts, well let’s just say They know before we even sit down we’re having the baklava because it can’t be beat, You haven’t had baklava until you’ve had Aromas Baklava!!!! Thank You aroma for more incredible memories, You’re a huge favorite of ours, we return every chance we get, We bring friends and encourage everyone Here to choose Aroma every single town, there’s just nothing else that will compare anywhere in town (or within miles of it honestly!!!!) ****Edit**** I am so glad to say This never happened before and I’m so glad it did for Aroma, When I began the review it was Rated 4.4, as soon as I pressed “Post” for This Review, it must’ve pushed it over the edge because when the page refreshed, it refreshed as a 4.5 and I can’t wait to see Hundreds more come to your restaurant, sit at your table and have the enjoyment and warm memories around your food and service like we did there tonight, I’m thrilled this review could Help lift up a very deserving place, and very, very deserving, hard-working people who are truly Some of the kindest, most welcoming people you’d ever be happy to give your business to

Had an incredible meal at Aroma a couple nights ago. I was on a “momcation” with some friends and we called to check if they’d seat us 30 minutes before their published close - they welcomed us with open arms. We were seated in our own small room which meant they could clean and work on closing without bothering our meal. Our server, Yuri, was incredible. He was sweet, and really considerate of one mom’s more limited diet offering her various options that would work for her. He even comped us a small dessert and took our picture after our meal. Although they were closed when we finished we never felt rushed. Then comes the actual food. Every bite was delicious and beautifully presented. We had an grilled octopus Over beans appetizer, the beautiful bronzino and another dish that my friend said was absolutely delicious. I’m adding this to a must go list for my next Rehoboth vacation.

Aroma is a quaint little cottage-turned-Mediterranean restaurant tucked away in Rehoboth—and such a charming find! My son, who’s from NYC and has a serious love for Mediterranean food, really enjoyed the meal, which says a lot. I had the chicken kebabs—flavorful and well-seasoned, though the presentation was unexpected. The jasmine rice was especially delicious—full of flavor and perfectly cooked. My son ordered the Branzino and gave it two thumbs up. We also shared the white bean salad, which was a standout—fresh, light, and packed with flavor. We did try the pickled cabbage, but it was a bit too sweet for our taste. The service was kind and attentive, and the whole vibe was cozy and inviting. All in all, a solid experience. I’d give it a 7/10—worth a visit if you’re in the area and craving Mediterranean with a touch of charm!

The family was really looking forward to a great meal as this was the last night of a great 2 week vacation. We had eaten here last year and it was very enjoyable.

However, this was one of the worst dining experiences that I've ever had, certainly in the top 5.

It started out with asking us if we wanted to sit in a room with no AC on a 98 degree day.

Then when we sat down, we were told they couldn't accept credit cards, internet was down. They could accept cash and we could go to the ATM to get 300 in cash. Not sure about anyone else, but i dont carry much cash these days. Next they were out of hummus, that's like an Italian restaurant not having red sauce.

When the drinks came, the mint lemonade had a ketchup like aftertaste, not sure why but it did.

The meals came fairly quickly after the apps, which were only middling. The lamb was way overcooked, the spanikopta looked store bought, however the chicken was cooked just right.

The topper was after asking for the check several times, we were told the POS was down and they weren't sure what to do.

We asked for some consideration, they offered free drinks during our next visit, like that would happen. Finally, after a bit of discussion, they did the right thing and offered a fair mea culpa.

Thankfully theywere able to accept venmo and we left.

I felt sorry for the server, she tried her best in this situation, although she could have handled things better.

Bottomline: the food was mediocre, way over priced and the lack of support from management makes for a...

We visited Aroma in Rehoboth Beach last Sunday. I don’t usually leave reviews, especially not to discredit a place or someone personally. Honestly, the food was excellent, and the service was quick.

We had a reservation, and although we arrived late, a little over an hour before closing, they welcomed us kindly. My boyfriend even ordered two extra dishes last minute, and they had no problem preparing them.

When it came time to pay, we realized they don’t accept Apple Pay. My boyfriend went to the register and paid using his card number, as we didn’t have a physical card with us, something that’s quite common nowadays. The bill was around $200, and he left a 10% tip.

While we were finishing our meal, our server came over and asked how everything was, but in a slightly unusual tone. She then mentioned how much she makes per hour ($2.50 or something similar), which we completely understand varies by state. What felt a little uncomfortable was her suggesting that if we could leave a tip, even though one had already been given.

To be clear, my boyfriend was respectful the entire time and didn’t refuse to tip again, this time another 10% tip when she asked. In the end we left the 20%. It wasn’t about the money, but more about the way it was handled. We truly value good service and believe there are more professional ways to address these situations.

Other than that small detail, everything else about the...
