Madame Butterwork's La Crêperie at Circus Circus Reno — Restaurant in Reno

It's pretty terrible Owner asked me to go in to more detail so here it is.

I got the swedish pancakes which sounded promising in the menu description but I was pretty disappointed with the portion size. The pancakes were paper thing and spread out fanned across the plate guaranteeing that they would be cold by the time they go to the table. With that said the overall taste of the pancakes were good enough. The other person I was with got the curious hashbrowns. This is what left me with a lot of discontent. When you buy pre grated cheese it has cornstarch powdered over all the cheese so it won't stick back together in the packaging. Since they use this type of cheese it becomes too dry. The entire plate was covered in a generous amount of this cheese which left the entire plate of food covered in this hard plastic mold of cheese. another less desirable feature of this dish was the placement of the hash browns. The plate doesn't come with meat on one side and hash browns on the other, it just all arrives in a chaotic mix of bits. The best thing about hash browns is its crispy outside and it's moist insides. My mother was in town and stayed at circus circus. We just ate here and the service was absolutely terrible!! We recieved our food and my mom asked for salsa with her omelet, she also did not have a fork in her place sett ing. She never received her salsa and our server never came back so she could get a fork. She ate 2 bites of her omelet with her spoon and was not happy with how it tasted. When the server came back she asked how everything was, my mom said she did not lik e her food(she never complains). She still had toast left that she planned to eat on a separate plate from the omelet. The server sat the check on the table and took my mom's plate's and walked away without saying a single word. We didn't even have time to stop her from taking the plate's, but to just take them without asking is very rude in my opinion. When we went to pay the check and stated that we didn't have a good experience the lady said "oh, sorry ". Probably the worst service I've ever received at a breakfast...

Cozy atmosphere. Our awesome waitress Rosa was polite and friendly. When asked for popular dishes she was informative, detailed, and on-point. Although the server (Tina) that brought our drinks to the table was extremely rude and had the wrong order. When explaining to Tina that I had ordered a hot chocolate for my daughter and a chai latte for myself she insisted we had ordered orange juice and became frustrated and said "Have your waitress get it the." I find this unprofessional, especially in the food industry as a server. Maybe she just didn't have her cup of joe this morning, but just by the way she looked at me and the tone in her voice made me feel like I did something wrong. The server then went to the next table and gave them the orange juice. I was happy when our waitress came to the table and apologized for the server's attitude and brought our drinks. Thank you Rosa.
