Dinner was excellent! And so was the service. I walked in at about 10pm after a long day, and Toni was quick to greet me and show me to my table. Tim came in shortly after, took my order, and served my dinner to me within 10-15 minutes. Another gentlemen helped wait on me and make sure my lemon water was always filled lol. And on top of that, they were all friendly and invited me to relax as long as I wanted. It was a great place to relax and enjoy a perfectly cooked meal. As far as the food, I ordered Roasted Brussel Sprouts, a Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad and Jamaican Jerk Chicken. The salad was prepared well with the right amount of dressing, the brussel sprouts soaked up the sauce that tasted amazing with the roasted flavor. It enchanced the almost smokiness of it all and added some rich sweetness. And the Jamaican Jerk Chicken was cooked to perfection, nice char on the outside, but cooked to a tender, soft, and juicy texture, just like it should be. Altogether, a little over $60 for my three disges and it was all well worth it with generous portions! Next time I'm back in Reno, I'll definitely be at Millies24 again!

My last visit to Miles 24 was two years ago. Gave it a five star review for menu selection and great wait staff. Ordered the Ramen salad for dinner on September 29, 2022. The menu stated freash ramen, chopped cabbage, veggies with an asian dressing. Definitely had lots of freash ramen that was good, but I didn't see very much chopped cabbage. It did have some chopped cucumber that helped with the texture balance and the dressing was OK. I feel that the name Ramen Pasta salad would be more appropriate and it would have been better to just serve hot ramen soup. Our waiter was attentive to our needs and very friendly. The next morning I ordered breakfast. Two eggs with bacon. Breakfast was very good and served hot. Our waitress did seem to friendly, gave me the wrong breakfast order and never returned to see if I needed anything else. She did stop by to drop the check off so I could pay at the counter. At the register had the same unfriendly, just a job attitude and didn't even offer a thank you. Two years, menu changes and some staff that don't really seem to care. Allot has changed.

We ordered two different entrees at this place. The tacos were greasy cold, tasted like spoiled beef. It was horrible. My wife is a California chick. Very few taco she don't like she would not eat these. I tried. I did not like them as well. Just turned her stomach and mine. Also ordered the chicken fingers which were pretty good. But you can get the same quality from any gas station place for the chicken fingers our waiter Jerry was amazing! But he's the only one. I tried to tell them that that food was horrible and it was still all left on the plate would not even give us a discount for it. If you do not have a taste palette, order the tacos, you'll regret it later. The three-star review is generous. If it was not for Jerry it would have gotten one star review.

I went on October 27, 2025 around 11:15am. I wanted to have a good breakfast with my husband. I was seated and we ordered food. I opened the fork and knife and found my fork not clean and has hard food stuck on it like cheese or something. So I a lady because my server wasn't around and I showed her the fork and she then said she'll bring me another fork. She brought me another fork and knife and left. I opened it and AGAIN I found a dirty fork so I called her again and I asked her if she's the manager and she said she is then she said I'll bring you another set. So she went and got me one from the dishwasher. At that time I was already sick to my stomach because that's really gross just thinking how I'm about to eat after someone and how unsanitary that is. Like what if someone has something can spread it to us. So then I told her, this is actually really gross and how unsanitary it is and her response was "well what do you want me to do? I just bought you a new set from the dishwasher" please note that both forks were visibly covered with left over food like literally it can be seen by anyone! So I told her that I'm just surprised how she didn't even apologize and has an attitude then I told her how do I know that the plate you're bringing our food on would be clean since she had to go bring 2 new sets and both were dirty. So she said "I guess you'll never know idk how I can help you" by that time the food was already being served on our table and I told her I dont appreciate how she's responding and I am not paying for food that I will not consume and we left. The attitude was absolutely the worst. She never apologized, she had major attitude and is super unprofessional. I have no idea how she is a manager instead of trying to fix and de-escalate the problem, she was giving me attitude for complaining about 2 dirty forks that were brought to me while she can see they're visibly unclean. They can go over the cameras to really see how bad that was and that I never ate or touched both forks. I will be reporting this to the Northern Nevada Public Health (NNPH) and Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health (DPBH). I would hate to see anyone get sick because they can't properly clean their utensils which everyone is using. I wonder how gross their food is being done inside. Never ate their food because I was literally about to throw up because this was too gross. The WORST experience I have EVER had. The manager is so miserable and should be fired for not being professional and being rude and not fixing the problem. Instead, she was almost yelling at me for complaining and her voice was being raised. Someone needs to watch the camera and see how I was...

Millies24 was one of our favorite pre-pandemic restaurants in downtown Reno with consistently delicious entree items and friendly efficient service. Thus, we were happy to see it was re-opened and taking reservations for a special set menu dinner on Thanksgiving Day. Unfortunately, Millies was not it's former pre-pandemic self.

Dinner started off well as we were seated promptly upon arrival at 6:00 PM. It was not crowded. In the almost 10 minutes that it took for the waiter to come out, a neighboring table was seated twice with both parties walking out. To be fair, both parties were probably walk ups and didn't know it was a set menu dinner until they were seated and had a chance to review the menu.

We felt our dining experience was sub-par to average, because: Soup was less than hot when served. In the main course, mashed potatoes and stuffing had started to crust over. Top of turkey was dried out. We suspect entrees with sides were plated by kitchen well in advance and sat under heat lamps too long. The plate was as hot as the food. Food presentation was sloppy. Soup drips were on rim of soup bowl. Main course sides of yams/stuffing/bean casserole were overlapping each other looking rather messy. Kitchen was skimpy on gravy, which barely covered the mash potatoes. We asked for additional gravy so that we could have some to go with the stuffing and the turkey. Some inconsistency in servings. My salad had 8 grapes (yes, I counted). My companion's salad had 2 grapes. My turkey dark meat (main course was turkey duet: light meat and dark meat) was served as a scoop of shredded slivers while my companion's dark meat was fortunately discernible slices of turkey drumstick meat. Dessert choice of Gelato was a flattened "splat" instead of a rounded scoop, served in a disposable oversized black plastic (WHAT'S GOING ON???) bowl with a fork stuck in the middle. Was the restaurant out of spoons? Upon receiving our check, we noticed we had been charged for a milk and a soft drink that we did not order. The waiter looked a bit bewildered when we asked for a correction, but agreed.

Don't get me wrong, the dinner was NOT a disaster, but it was not the Millies24 that we enjoyed during the pre-pandemic days. It's puzzling because we are pretty sure we've had the same waiter before and he was attentive and efficient. We suspect there was something missing in the coordination within and between the kitchen and the front...

Waiter Missing in Action. There was 9 of us and the wait was not long to be seated, but then it all went down hill. Our server was no here to be found to at least greet us and get beverages ordered. We waited 12 minutes until he showed up at the table. He was pleasant but very, very disorganized. He took the order then went MIA again for over 22 minutes, not even a check in or it will here soon.

Finally some of the soup came in but only for 1/3 of our party, the rest was MIA. I went to the manager to find out what happened to him and just at that time he came speeding through the cafe with a cart full of food and.....BAM!

He ran into some patrons and the food went flying everywhere. Back to the kitchen to start all over. They did recover some of the other soups that did not spill, unfortunately it was only tepid and not hot as soup should be; probably sitting back there waiting for him to come get it.

When everything finally came out, there were a few items missing. One of the salads had no dressing (dry) as described on menu and had to remind the server that rolls come with the dinner.

It sad that one individual can take down a reputation and experience of an establishment. I CAN NOT recommend this establishment. Definitely go to one of the other local cafes.

We were offered free dessert, however the whole meal should have...
