Granite Street Eatery provided a truly delightful and memorable dining experience. Nestled in a charming part of town, this local gem offers a welcoming ambiance that effortlessly balances casual comfort with thoughtful service. One of the standout features for me was their dog-friendly patio—an absolute bonus for pet lovers. I brought both my mother and my beloved rescue dog, Daisy, and we were all made to feel right at home. The staff was exceptionally courteous and professional, displaying genuine warmth and attentiveness throughout our visit. It’s not often you find service that feels both efficient and personal, but Granite Street Eatery manages to strike that rare balance. We began our meal with the shishito pepper appetizer, which I cannot recommend highly enough. Perfectly blistered and seasoned, the peppers had just the right amount of heat and depth of flavor to whet the appetite. It was a simple dish executed with care and finesse—evidence of a kitchen that takes pride in both quality and presentation. Equally impressive were the menu prices, which were remarkably reasonable given the quality of the ingredients and the overall dining experience. It’s refreshing to discover a place where value and flavor coexist so harmoniously. Granite Street Eatery has certainly earned a spot on my list of favorite local spots, and I look forward to returning many times in the future—hopefully with Daisy in tow. Whether you're looking for a relaxed lunch, a charming evening out, or a pet-friendly place to enjoy a meal with family, this eatery delivers on every front.

Definitely a place worth checking out. The restaurant has a country/farmhouse interior design with high ceilings, ample light from the windows, and animal artwork on the walls. I sat in one of the wooden high-backed booths which felt quite private considering the open feeling of the restaurant. I ordered the hamburger which came with either shoestring fries or potato medallions. I went with the medallions which were fantastic, flavorful and potatoey. The shoestring fries looked too thin and fried out for me, but I generally shy away from that style anyway. The hamburger was delicious, I had it cooked medium, but seemed closer to medium well. The seasoning was great, didn't overwhelm the overall dish, but really brought out the flavor of the meat. It was topped with melted cheddar cheese; lettuce, tomato, onion garnish on the side. The mayonnaise is made in-house and the ketchup is not your standard Heinz. Overall a fantastic gormet hamburger. I went during happy hour when it wasn't so busy, nonetheless, service was on point even as it filled up by the end. Prices were reasonable. The hamburger was $12 and very filling. I ordered an appetizer on special, flat bread with avacado spread, while it was tasty it was not worth the price. While I didn't get a drink, they have a good selection of beers on tap and wine. They also have a cool outdoor seating area which would be excellent in the summer.

Loved it! We decided to go for a non-fast-food lunch today and thought we'd try something new. We made the right choice. It has a very local feel to it, a place tourists and locals would love. It's in an area with lots to see and do, like the Riverwalk and casinos and hotels. There is a casual atmosphere, music playing at a level that drowns out details of other conversations but doesn't overpower your own. A gentleman (owner I think?) was very friendly and accommodating. He seemed to take a lot of pride in the restaurant. There was a bit of a wait, as it was a Sunday afternoon. But the food was well worth the wait... I ate the Italian wrap which was wrapped in a green (spinach, I think) tortilla and garlic parmesan fries. To die for. Very flavorful. My wife had the Black and Blue, a burger topped with blue cheese, and she enjoyed it well enough. Small quesadilla which was also sandwiched between two of those same green tortillas for one child, chicken fingers for the other. Everything was a hit. With tip, 2 adult meals, 2 children's meals, it was around $50. Nicely priced. The service was fair. Our server didn't seem too pleased, although she was never outright rude. Certainly not enough to knock a star off! We are looking forward to going back to try other items on the menu!

I took my wife here because it looked like it had a historic ambiance and clever food. What we were rewarded with was a downhill slide of disappointment that could only be matched by a water park. I should have guessed how this would turn out when the waiter failed to offer us any specials and was negligent to even offer sugar for iced tea. We had to flag down the gal who originally seated us. When we asked our server about the difference between 'potato medalions' and 'shoestrings' we were told the shoestrings were were dusted in parmesan and rosemary. After waiting nearly 20 minutes, we finally received our food. I should mention that only 4 other tables seemed occupied, I can't imagine what a full house wait would be. Not only were the shoestrings plain, but potato medalions were nothing more than plain house potato chips. Our burgers were extremely dry and I was given an entire half of a Roma tomato to somehow put on my burger. Our waiter also avoided our table despite the lightly occupied house. The final straw was either poor math or outright fraud by our server. Our bill was $44.43, we paid $100.04. Our change was $45.53. When we confronted him about this, we were given $10 ( of which he still failed to recognize the error in change ).

TLDR: Inattentive uneducated staff, overpriced lackluster food and long wait times. Such a shame for a great location. Will definitely...
