Okay, it could be a studio, if they close the place during the day and have some recording equipment. It's a pretty small space, but adequate for a small band and small people. It's probably why half the folks hang out outside. Okay, this may not be the appropriate place to say this, but hipsters have taken over Reno! All their bicycles and hoodies and black dyed hair and tat sleeves and skinny jeans and PBR beer. I know it's a stereotype, but they're cool and mellow. Better than the prep scene with all their Abercrombie and barbies and hybrid hip hop thing. Oh, one last thing, you could fit about 30 regular sized folks in there or 60 hipsters.
Update: good on ya. Millennialsâs weakness is a tendency for conscientious gormandizing crapulence, not for fear of destroying the environment and subsidizing corporate graft but not getting fat or just having something interesting to Instagram. âPappy is so like 2014. Iâm into bourbon oaked in barrels strapped to fishing vessels in the South Pacific obviously pursuing non-endangered, seaweed-fed fish, because grain-fed, farmed fish have lower Omega-3 and...

Bartender and owner are both great guys and go out of their way to give their place a nice aesthetic and an interesting selection of drinks, and they'll even make you something non-alcoholic if you can't or don't drink, with no pressure either way. Probably the most low-key and relaxed bar downtown, almost entirely a local sort of place. Good spot to meet laid-back people in town.
They've got a pool table and dart board in the basement, which are both almost always free, or free after a short wait. Though, in truth, if it's being used you will be invited to play in, more often than not.
Keep in mind, though, that they do not serve food. However, there are plenty of other places nearby that do, and an even larger number capable...
Read moreStill a gem of a place in the heart of Reno! I went to RedRock to have a drink and enjoy the evening, and I was not disappointed! Super friendly gal by the name of Jessica behind the bar was an absolute pleasure, and while the bar is a bit more on the smaller side, it made for a cozy, friendly atmosphere where conversation was easily heard (not so easy to find these days). Pair that with the reasonable costs of the drinks and the laid back atmosphere, and RedRock has provided a winning...
