Lunch today was amazing.

My friend was in a pickle whether or not to go with one of their signature burgers or a Corned Beef sando. When the bartender came over, my friend explained her quandary. Without hesitation, the bartender said, "you'll love the Corned beef" in so many words. I ordered their Buffalo Chicken sangwich. Side note: in honor of all oy my friends from Buffalo and the surrounding area, I'm trying to stay in a 'Buffalo' frame of mind for food.

When our order was ready, my friend couldn't wait to dive in. I picked up my food and started feasting while she still waited ...until she couldn't hold out anymore.

She took one bite and the rest was history: "This is the best Reuben I've had in my life."

I smiled because I knew she'd be stoked. She polished off her food with the quickness. After all was said and done, I said to the bartender (while pointing at my friend), "you have another satisfied first-timer." My friend said, "I'll be back soon, maybe tomorrow."

If you're still on the fence about getting food at Ryan's, wait no more. Get in there and eat up!

Thanks for taking the time...

I went to a job interview, I was asked to confirm at 5:30am the morning of. There where no cleaning proceedures in place. I confirmed. The mask wasn't a issue. The conversation was about the transfer of ownership. The discussion of buying other properties came up. The positive went out the window. The shift was advertised as full time and went to part time. The discussion was to meet other staff that didn't show up. The owner was concerned about football season and being a backup. The tips were of no concern. I'm giving this a 2 out of 10. Obviously you are not a co worker, just a employee. No benefits where discussed, and just a need for emmediate employment which signifies short term employment. No job security and or importance for time invested. I wouldn't back this bar or suggestion employment being A way to feed your family. They currently do not have a gaming license. I would pass on wasting my time. Also, there was a hint of gossip and talk related to guests. Not...

If you want a large greasy burger this is exactly that. It's the type of burger you eat when you just don't care about your arteries and you need a messy meal for your soul. It was good for that purpose but it's not a burger I'd eat as my "regular" burger place. Fries and curds were tasty. It is a bar and it screamed more "bar" than eatery but there are tables to eat at. We walked in kind of expecting guidance from the bar tender on whether we should be seated or just sit. There were no menus on the tables and I did not see a good menu behind the bar. My friend just started ordering based on the things she saw online in reviews (maybe there is a menu we didn't look hard...

I went recently to see a friend's band perform, it was my first time. It was a bit cramped but nobody was rude, in fact the crowd was friendly and polite. The staff was attentive and friendly as well. I had a couple of White Russians and they were tasty. This is one of those places where you can eat peanuts and throw the shells on the floor. they also serve burgers cooked fresh to order. I didn't have one but they looked good and people seemed to be enjoying theirs. The decor is fun, with murals depicting Wells Avenue as it looked in the past as well as tongue-in-cheek artwork and knickknacks, like the "trees" in my photo.

I drove down from Tahoe and was looking for a dive with an amazing burger. My first reaction walking in: “have I overshot my target”? I grew even more skeptical as the bartender nonchalantly proceeded to prepare the burger in front of me. But that first bite quite literally made me eat my prejudice. I was drowned in char and juices, and inhaled the entire platter in minutes. The fries were a bit crispy for my taste, but the white sauce (ranch?) deserves a special mention - absolutely delicious. Truly a superlative dive bar burger. Totally worth the drive from Tahoe’s overpriced and mediocre offerings.
