The Z Bar — Restaurant in Reno

Ya know I have been coming here for years and watched the amazing transformation of Z Bar come to it's full potential! I absolutely love the outdoor seating and firepits and we stayed long enough for karaoke last night. What a great crowd and service is on point! But I have to mention a couple weeks back on a rainy afternoon that needs to be noted. Two business owners , me and my hubby, overworked and overwhelmed decided to stop for a drink. Z the bartender was working away in an empty bar. We usually will stop for 1 and be on our way. He stopped everything he was doing and we started chatting. Almost 2 hours later we forgot about our troubles and had the most amazing conversation with Mr. Z. Thank you sir for taking time out of your day to visit with us. You have no idea how much we needed a distraction from our crazy lives and will be back and bring our friends! You sir made lifelong friends and customers! I love the wall of bottles... and all their ecclectic decor... those lit-up tables, the multitude of cozy spots to hang out (u can be part of the party crowd or find a quiet spot when u need to)

They have a very charming patio also, and a lot of various art, both pieces on the wall, and murals, indoor and outdoor. ✨❤️✨

I was here for about 6 hrs yesterday, the crowd was very friendly, overall a great vibe, good place to get a drink and make great conversation 💯👈.

There is an Indian restaurant right across the street, when u need to grab a bite, I recommend it...

On this warm summer eve, it was for the perfect girls night out to reconnect after being stuck in our houses for wayyyy to long so we grabbed the perfect libations going fireside on the cute back patio.

I had the Strawberry Basil with my ALWAYS liquor of choice - Vodka, strawberries, lemon, balsalmic vinegar & basil syrup - yummmyyy and my friend opted for the RC with upgraded Empress 1908 Gin, raspberries, cucumber, lemon, mint syrup - deLISH!

The staff was super friendly, made GREAT suggestions for drink options and helpful with lighting the firepit for us to enjoy. Look forward to manyyy more chill...
