Wish I could give it zero stars! Went today with a friend and both our sons. Not only were we not greeted by the hostess but she pulled the couple behind us and seated them! Other costumers much behind even spoke up to say that we were there first, yet the she didn't seat us first and gave us a run around as to where she was going to seat us! As we finally got a table near the couple that she put ahead of us, I realized we still didn't have menus !!! So as Im looking around to see if I can grab them myself I noticed that two different parties that arrived after we did had their menus and their drink orders !!!!!! As this was my first time I asked my friend what did she want to do bc I have no problem pointing out to the server the neglect we were receiving. My friend states this happened the last two times she's went but the food is good. Not my cup of tea. I asked if she's be ok with leaving and as soon as the hostess/server walked by again and didn't acknowledge us AGAIN. We got up and left. Such terrible service but apparently service is good depending on what you look like! Glad we didn't spend any money here! Good food or not, they need to learn respect or just some basic civil manners! I will not go here again and recommend it to anyone

Negative stars!

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE!

I understand being busy, or forgetful, or even a long day! None of those things apply here !

If you have basic respect for all people no matter what they look like you would not condone this behavior by giving them service! At...

First the lady at the cash register was the only one working, so service was horrible. Second the food was not even close to authentic Thai, I’m from Surin Thailand and grew up on Authentic Thai. I understand you have to Americanize it to an extent but the food was the worst I’ve had. Beef noodle soup, flavors were way off, meat was wrong and they brought none of the stuff that should come with it, I.e. fish sauce, chili sauce, suracha, vinegar etc... super bland. Ordered Larb and papaya salad with sticky rice, no sticky rice available so they just brought the dishes, did not provide rice at all, had to order for extra steamed rice. Ground chicken in Larb tasted boiled, like warm bland chicken, Papaya salad had a thousand peanuts in it and was sweet, super sweet. Shrimp soup no flavor, asked for fish sauce and they brought about a table spoon of vinegar, asked again and they brought about a teaspoon. Everything served on paper plates leaking juice everywhere. Server did not know what she was serving, no knowledge of Thai food, her response to my questions “I’m not Thai” spent close to 100 bucks and we all ate steamed rice for...

After a long day on the road from Oregon , my wife and I have gone to serveral Thai restaurant in Reno that were very good. We decided to give Tahi Chilli a try. My wife had her standard dish Pad Se Eww with Tofu. Wide noodles with Brocolli in a brown gravy sauce. I had the Vegetable Garden with Chicken and Pork. Brocolli, Zuchhini , Cabbage, Carrots, Mushrooms in a brown gravy sauce. My dish came out of the kitchen maybe 5 minutes after we ordered. My wife's order came out serveral minutes later. That was a telling sign. My dish had some crunchy bits of something I can not say what it was. Both Chicken and Pork were way over cooked. The cabbage was limp. The Brocolli was not cut enough to put a bite in your mouth. The host/waitris was very unfriendly. Didn't ask us if we liked our meal. I didn't want to leave a tip but I did under tip. We'll have to got back to Thai Lotus or The Coconut Downtown next time...

I love the decorations, the design and atmosphere of this little restaurant. The music was soothing and the smells enticing. I ordered from The lunch specials menu. The drunken spaghetti was served without any spices added, so it had a light and subtle nutty flavor from the oil. I particularly like that they serve most meals with a separate tray of spices that you can add yourself. That is brilliant and I hope that innovation spreads to all Thai restaurants soon. No more negotiating with your server as to whether one star or five stars is particularly spicy to you. The total bill came to less than $11. I will definitely be back!

Rice is extra, not included in meal. NO fried rice either, very disappointing. Their version of crab Rangoon is called cheese puff, at least you get an even number. didn’t really want to make the food spicy, thought that was the point of Thai food to make Thai hot? No orange chicken, they have golden chicken made with sweet &sour sauce, weird. Asked to make Thai hot she looked at me weird.Wasn’t hot at all. The rice was bland so added the sauce from the chicken to it. They do charge for tea refill $3 each and everything is ala cart Service was slow even though we were the only table occupied in the whole place.

By far my favorite Thai place in Reno. Location and parking can’t be beat. Service, prices, and quality of food are also very good. Very reasonable prices for the scale of restaurant and amount of food you get. The presentation is always fantastic with some sort of nice vegetable embellishment. The service is always very attentive and friendly. The restaurant is clean and well presented. Great pad Thai, great appetizers, and the mango sticky rice is killer. They also have amazing ginger tea. This is my regular Thai place and I recommend it a thousand times over.
