I would never go here again. I was a consistent customer, until today. The owner is aggressive and a bully. I went in to order package of cookies and redeem a credit I had been given from a couple weeks ago. The credit was given from the cashier for soggy strawberries and barely any chocolate from Dubai chocolate strawberry cups. Paying $15 each for rotten soggy strawberries-no bueno. I come in every couple weeks to get the Dubai cups and cookies for me and my daughters. I had called left a vm and cashier to let him know this purchase of strawberrys were mushy and rotten. He called me back and said he would put my name down for the next time I come in so I can pick up new Dubai cups. So fast forward to today. My girls wanted cookies-so we went to crave. I ordered the cookies and mentioned to the same cashier who gave me the credit that I would also like to redeem the credit for the Dubai cups. He looks my name up in the system and says they just got a new system and couldnāt find it. Told me to hold on and went to the back. A few mins later, a over 6 ft 300-400lb guy comes out and just stares at me. Doesnāt say anything for a good minute. Just looking at me straight in the face. So I say hi. Heās like, can I help you. Very rude and intimidating. Iām confused at this moment. So I ask him did the cashier explain to you whatās going on. He still just staring at me and says no. So, I tell him okay so I have a credit and Iām trying to redeem it. He proceeds to tell me yeah for the strawberries. Iām like, yeah and explain to him about the cup of strawberries and we come here often and that time the strawberries were rotten and that the cashier had given me a credit to redeem the next time I come in. He starts telling me that he doesnāt have to honor it and that as soon as I leave that door heās not responsible for anything. So Iām confused still and really couldnāt believe how he was behaving. So I ask him, so are you going to honor it? Because if not, cool, Iām fine with that, Iād just buy my cookies and leave with my girls. No big deal. He starts getting loud and aggressive speaking over me. And I confront him on his tone because itās getting louder and aggressive and I look back at my daughters to see if they feel safe and the owner then starts getting louder and denying being aggressive and louder. I told him, you know what, never-mind I donāt want anything. He continues to be aggressive in tone-saying so you donāt want to redeem the credit now. I told him nope, not at all. Def not going to be doing business with some one this rude and trying to intimidate a women and her 3 daughters. At that if heās this rude and aggressive to customers with their children right there, I wonder how he is to his own spouse and family. I am a business owner in this town as well. So a lot of stuff I can blow off. People can have bad days but this dude, definitely needed to be in the back kitchen eating cookies instead of being customer facing today.
if I was a dude, he probably wouldnāt even have gotten loud and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI really enjoy cookies. And Crave has some great ones, but I am a new customer to them, so I have only tried about 10 of their flavors. Being a long time fan of Crumbl I was excited to compare and have even more flavors to try out. The two businesses are very similar, but have fun differences. Their app is only for ordering and if you want to look up their flavors, check their website. They drop their new flavors on Fridays and sell whatever is left from the previous week until it's gone, which hasn't gone past the weekend the two times I've been in. I haven't liked every cookie, as to be expected, but have really enjoyed some. And I'm pretty sure one of the cookies that had just been on the menu the day before, Thursday, was souring when I bought it on Friday. That's why I gave the 4 stars for the food. Just order any cheesecake ones fresh š Best ones so far: Milk chocolate chip, Biscadoodle, baked butterbeer, and white caramel choc-o-lantern, and a chocolate cookie with cheesecake topping (not sure if its name.) Fun names and flavors. I didn't like their semi sweet chocolate chip, it was kind of grainy. Nice workers and nice store/display, and it smells amazing in there. They do have a rewards program, just tell the cashier your number when you order. They have simple reheating instructions on the lip of every box and if followed, they taste even better. I did like the butterbeer cookie best not reheated and they have one cold cookie each week, so don't heat that one up. The box is pretty chic if you want some sophisticated...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had the chocolate chip Cravelits. They were very lackluster and below average in regard to flavor and texture. They were oddly crispy on the outside (like when I leave cookies in the oven 2-3 minutes too long when I bake cookies at home, and forget to move them to a cooling rack so they keep cooking; I have actually done this before) and smelled slightly burnt. The best part of them was the chocolate chips which tasted like milk chocolate, I donāt think they used semi-sweet. I donāt know whatās going on with the dough here, itās just weird. Not enough butter, slightly too much flour, only the slightest vanilla flavor⦠the dough is very bland, and when I have a cookie the dough is the main show for me. Almost $9 (my total cost, including tax) for 10 tiny (about 1.5 inch) cookies (about $0.87 each) is a stretch for cookies that tasted like my neighbor offered them to me because they left them in the oven too long and made a proper batch for themselves, and was off when measuring the ingredients from the recipe. I appreciate the owner replying with something thoughtful, I raised to a 2-star for that; I may return to try something else, but I cannot recommend the Cravelits as the flavor was bland and the texture was very dissatisfying. I actually really like crispy cookies, thereās just something very off about the chocolate chip Cravelits. High prices for a tiny cookie should indicate outstanding quality, which is unfortunately not...
