I had a pretty bad experience here although they do have really cute clothes. I guess their policy is that you drop off the clothes but can’t wait. They give you 24 hours to pick the clothes back up or they take them all. I was not notified of this, so I called them a few days later excited to hear how much they wanted and to go pick up my other very expensive silk items, brand new urban outfitter items, free people items, north face items. I think I got a total of $24 -and there must’ve been thousands of dollars worth of clothing in there.
You know they of course kept it and sold it. On my way out. I saw one of my items being sold for $68 which was a white fluffy north face vest. If I remember right, they wouldn’t even tell me what they bought because it was past the 24 hours.
I felt completely scammed and I will be reaching out to customer service. Be careful to come pick up your stuff.
If it is stuff you’re planning on reselling or if it matters to you be careful with them. When I called to discuss, the person who answered that had a little regard for the inconvenience, or what this must have felt like, and did little to help me, and basically shrugged her shoulders. I did get a customer service number and this was a few months ago so I will be discussing this with them. If they are a good business, they will have an itemization of everything they took, and I will get the credit I deserve. I wouldn’t want to have to get...
Read moreHad a very bizarre experience here yesterday. My father and sister were in the store browsing and after a few minutes a small, older male employee told my dad he needed to go. My dad was confused and asked why and my sister approached and tried to explain “he’s just my dad and he’s hanging out with me while I shop”. The man the snatched two shirts from my sister’s hand and said “you’ve gotta go too.” He was loud in the store and was actively trying to embarrass them in front of other shoppers. He escorted them outside to where my mom and I were waiting for them and stammered through an explanation that there have been thefts in the area recently. I’m not sure if he was implying that my 70 year old dad looked suspicious in his sweatshirt and hokas or if this very small man was just angry with the world and trying to wield any power he might have but I’ve since called the store multiple times to try and get an explanation and apology. I’ve only been put on hold. It’s an interaction that still leaves me dumbfounded...
Read moreThis store has a great curation of clothes. I think it was very well organized things by color, size, style. Decent prices, most things I saw are a little under $20. Got an outfit for about $90 - jacket, jeans, and a top.
As someone who is always thrifting and finding vintage, I was pleasantly surprised with this store!
There was a wait for the fitting rooms so I did a lap until a stall was open. If that’s a problem for u, I recommend wearing something u can try things on over ur clothes! And putting a pair of jeans around your neck DOES work but it only accounts for your waist and not hips!
Most of the bad reviews seem to be from sellers, which these stores usually give you 30% cash from what they will sell the item for - pretty standard. Also standard to have to pick up your items within 24 hours they aren’t storage. This is somewhere to get rid of clutter and help the environment by repurposing clothes, probably not to make money back off some purchases.
Anyways. Will update with my...
