Stella Coffee Company — Restaurant in Reno

I recently had a mix up, the staff was rude and did not help me solve my issue. I specifically described what I wanted on the phone to them and told the people I don't know what it's called she then confidentially said she knew what one and shouted out a name and I said yeah if that's what's it's called I'm not sure I just know what's on it. I picked up my order, the customer service was okay but not a welcoming vibe. She gave me a completely wrong order, I only noticed when I got back to where I was going. I called and ask if I could come in and get what I originally wanted to order since I'm dairy free and they gave me the wrong order. One girl said sure let me see and proceeded to hand the phone to the girl who took my call and she came on the phone aggressively saying I HEARD YOU YOU ORDERED THE BLAH BLAH BLAH. I said no I specifically told you what was on it and that I didn't know what it was called, they told me to go read their menu online and then informed me that what I was ordered was not on their menu anymore because they changed ownership and staff. I can clearly say this place was way better as jostella. Rude staff. Waste of my morning....

This was my first and will be my last visit here. I waited 20 minutes just to order, and then had to wait another 20 minutes for my iced coffee. The cashier said I was sweet for deciding not to get a burrito because it wasn’t pre made, seeing that I would wait even longer if I ordered food and also not liking the person preparing the food having her hair down and not tied back. Had I known food is the most important thing to order here, I would have done that. I understand it was busy and a holiday, but that doesn’t mean you have all 3 employees making food the only priority when coffee bar is 6 drinks deep and no one working on getting them out. People walking out because no one to take orders and seeing the long line of drinks that are not being made. I wonder how much business walks out with the disorganization of the employees, and the the lack of owner presence on a busy day. Could not even taste the vanilla in the cold foam, and no apology for waiting another 20 minutes for my coffee. Took me standing staring at them and looking at the long line of coffee drinks not being made for them to start making coffee...

Stella coffee made our day! We couldn't get seats at a near by Hotspot which had over an hour wait. We decided not to wait and walked across street, while crossing street, we spoke to a gentleman carrying empty containers to a fresh made bakery delivery van. We asked where the fresh break was at, he directed us, to a corner coffee shop. We are so very glad that we did not go to the large busy place! Walking into Stella was so welcoming, people reading in booths, couples drinking at tables, plants handing, was instantly a more relaxing environment compared to other places. We both ordered fresh bread sandwiches, with rosemary focaccia bread which was so good, the best bread i have ate in a while, plus it was gluten free. The coffees were the best,with so many choices but cremme brule coffee was 10 times better the dutch and star kinda coffee shops we all go to. The staff were all nice and welcoming, and had great customer service. We are very thankful that we were rerouted to thid small corner shop. Stella's is the best little corner coffee shop you will...
