BeanWater Espresso — Restaurant in Renton

My sister and I come here all the time. We normally have a great experience. I'm not the one to usually leave reviews however the service we received was uncalled for. The barista who was on shift put in creamer instead of milk. However I'm lactose intolerant and can't have creamer. When my sister kindly told her that it's actually supposed to to be coconut milk which is what we ordered and always ordered. The barista begin to roll her eyes, and then on top of being upset because we wanted the drinks to be made without milk. She then asked us very rudely " you guys can't make do with that" , we told her no due to me lactose. She rolled her eyes again and then said " you guys should have Clarified that". We never asked for creamer, we always ask for coconut milk. Completely unnecessary rude service. We aren't kind to the baristas, we would like to just receive regular service. I had a latte and a cheap bottle of water that came to over $18, before tip, at the Tacoma Home and Garden Show. I am a vendor at the Homes Show and every year I would get a latte in the morning when I arrived. Unfortunately, it will the first and last latte I buy from here this year. Stopped for coffee and my kid wanted water so I thought since I was paying $8 for a coffee she’d give me a cup of water but no, she said it’s an additional $3.45 for a cup, I would have glad to pay $1. Also once I drove to her window I had to greet her to begin having an interaction. Definitely left a horrible first impression. Coffee was alright, not the best coffee I’ve had.
