Hi Pho — Restaurant in Renton

It was with my great honor and pleasure to have met the owners landing her husband!

They have only been open for a month and a half took over ownership from another owner who closed down during covid. I was recommended to go buy a friend in Seattle and I am certainly glad that I did!

I have the tempura shrimp with the special sauce and I added the hoisin sauce as well as chili sauce to spice it up a little bit with some pepper and it was amazing!

The care and service that they provide in their restaurant, to keep it affordable for customers yet cozy, is a highlighted point for me to return back in the future! I was informed as well that they have their first location in Federal Way so I am excited to try their Vietnamese sandwich there!

Come support this family-owned business, because they have the right focus for longevity of their business! Keeping prices affordable and yet providing excellent customer service with quality food is traditional...

Tried this new spot in the neighborhood and was really impressed with their Pho and Mi Quang—both were excellent. Also ordered the wings with fish sauce, which were perfectly fried but much sweeter than expected. A little less sugar would balance the flavors better.

One thing I noticed was that service was a bit slow, likely because there were only two people running the restaurant during a seated dinner service. Given that, I’d highly recommend streamlining the menu—removing some variations of similar dishes and specialty drinks could help with efficiency. A focused menu of 10-15 items for the first couple of months would reduce inventory costs and speed up order fulfillment. Then, as things settle, new items could be added or rotated in.

Was greeted and seated right away. The atmosphere is setup like a nice family owned restaurant. My Order Salt and Pepper Prawns.. perfectly seasoned large prawns with vegetables 5/5 Fried Tofu Phad Thai...nice portion well seasoned and spicy .. Thai Iced Tea....is this ever bad 5/5 Bahn Mi Sandwich...large sandwich stuffed with meat and vegetables with big flavor..this one is off the charts During lunch i was greeted tableside for quality and need for anything else. Overall this was a great dining experience. If youre in Renton give Hi Pho a try and also prices are great and food...
