Staples — Local services in Renton

I did not feel welcome in your store. No one greeted me upon entering the store. I was searching for a product and looked/walked several isles (about 3 times) and wandered the store till I finally found the item I was looking for. Then, when I went to check out. I walked up to the register, where the cashier was looking down at her phone with air pods in her ears. I stood there for at least 3 minutes. Another customer came into the store, she acknowledged him and answered his question...then saw me. She proceeded to check out my items and asked if I wanted a bag, I said yes. Then after payment she said...so you do not want a bag...??? I said thank you after the transaction and asked her name since she was not wearing a name badge. She refused stating, she never gives out her name and said good bye.

This was very rude. I know finding good employees is difficult. But this employee does not know the meaning of customer service. She should not be on her phone while on the clock.

I went into the store today to get my annual books/papers coil bound when I was told that they could not do it because the papers were 3 hole punched. I told the employee/manager that I had it done last year and it was done beautifully with no problem. Hence, I was back. Plus, other people from my group have always come into the Staples at the Landing to get their books/papers coil bound even though the paper was 3 hole punched. The employee/manager refused to do it, insiting it could not be done. I was stunned. I asked why. He rudely said it could not be done because of the 3 hole punches and refused to do it. That made absolutely no sense to me. So, I walked out, went to a different Staples in Kent where the woman was incredibly kind and took my order with no problem. All I can say is the male employee, who may have been a manager, was incredibly rude and I will not be back. Nor will I recommend this...

Absolutely horrible! I went to the printing/shipping station, and the lady in charge was horrible and had a horrible attitude. She wasn’t wearing her name tag like she was supposed to be wearing so that’s why I wasn’t able to get her name but she’s an older lady with grey hair and glasses. Not only was she rude to me but also rude to the employees!!! She didn’t want to help anyone and got mad with small things like helping us print a shipping label. She shouldn’t be over there! She made everyone stop everything and decided to close the whole area for the rest of the day while we were in the middle of printing our label and didn’t give us a reason on why we had to stop. She was the same way with all the other customers and employees. You could tell that everyone was upset and annoyed and she literally said “I don’t care!” Don’t go to this staples, find a different one to...
