I buy frequently from this business because they are reasonably priced. However, the incessant obsession with risk/theft has them punishing all patrons for bad behavior of a few. The bascarts have long poles attached so they do not clear the door. What this means is your cart[with your purchased merchndise] cannot be taken from the store to your vehicle. Often times I purchase large items from the Home section, i.e., rugs, lamps, wall art... and cannot transport my purchases in the cart to my SUV. Well today, they out did themselves. For the eight decorative pillow I purchased, I was required to take them by hand to my vehicle as I was told they did not have large bags. They were quick to offer exuses, but as a retail outlet did not produce. The cashier suggested that I park my vehicle at the store entry and then transport my item to my truck. How absurd...how incredibly stupid of a retailer to be armed with excuses rather take the necessary measures to serve it's customers. Removing the pole from the shopping cart enables patrons to transport their purchases to their vehicles...

If you bring in a few of your own items like an umbrella or take off your jacket because it's too warm... loss prevention watches you like a hawk. More than once they've been over baring and tried to accuse me of theft when all I did was take my jacket off or bring in my own umbrella. I told them I'd never return because of that incident. The loss prevention individual at the time (2018) had a ton of online complaints against him.
Ross's return policy is horrid. Even if you return it within the limit they do not give you a full refund but doc you a small percentage the further you get away form the purchase date. Sorry but that's not right.
Parking here isn't all that great and people tend to drive like the own the lot and could care less about...
Read moreI bought 2 towels, the cashier asked if I wanted a bag. I said "no" and she acknowledged my answer and did not bag my towels. As I turned with my towels and receipt in hand, the security person stopped me and asked to see my receipt. She asked if I had purchased a bag and I said "no". She told my cashier that she had charged me for a bag, then asked me if I wanted a bag. I said "no thank you, I don't need a bag". Between the 2 close by cashiers and the security person I kept hearing a muttered "it's only 8 cents" at least 5 times. Meanwhile one of them got on the phone as it became apparent that no one knew how to refund "just 8 cents". Finally my cashier asked me if it was ok if she just gave me 8 cents. I replied that was actually all I needed. She counted out each coin and dropped "just 8 cents" into my hand. Just letting Ross management judge for themselves if they have a customer...
