*EDIT: Hanger had got the best of me. Upon having the 3 cheese roll, I can confidently say this roll alone is to die for! No need for an entire breakfast sandwich when this 3 cheese roll has enough burst of flavor to satisfy anyone who walks through the door! I happily ate this roll cold and later warmed it up and it got even better! 10/10, go get a 3 cheese roll!! (Also maybe try one of the flavored cinnamon rolls that they offer in the store since I wasn’t a fan of the cinnamon twist I had tried)

Came for the breakfast sandwiches. Probably should take them off your website if you don’t sell them anymore. More than disappointed. Ended up getting the cinnamon twist and it was actually bland, I’m not even trying to be rude. It was bland. That sausage egg and cheese sandwich on a 3 cheese roll probably wouldn’t have been bland. But those cinnamon rolls are. Just realized they served everyone else on actual shop basket plates but gave me mine cold in to-go containers for no reason. 1/10. The lady was nice who took my order and the shop is nice but the rest of this experience was ridiculous. No sandwiches, fine. But then you serve me cold food in to-go containers? I know this place is known for its cinnamon rolls, but as I'm not huge on sweets, I ordered the soup of the day, which was tomato basil. The kind lady who took my order (I lament that I didn't catch her name) was super nice and patient while I asked her my questions, and she was keen to give recommendations as well. The soup turned out really quite nicely, I appreciated the texture, small chunks here and there, and it was hearty, despite the fact I only ordered a small bowl! The one thing, and you'll see this as a common theme among my reviews, that I would have to critique is the atmosphere. As delightful as this bakery is, its atmosphere is just severely lacking: the table I was at was wobbly, the music bounced erratically from Baja Men to Journey and beyond, and the lack of almost any decor on the walls and open floor space makes the room feel quite the opposite of cozy, instead reminding me of a school cafeteria or warehouse. It's a shame, I really do love the food, and I've no doubt I will return, I just wish the ambience had a bit more "oomph" to it, one way or another, just a bit more commitment. I’m gonna be honest, I’ve only been here for breakfast and lunch foods and the food I’ve had has been really good. The atmosphere is very cute and comfy. I really love the grilled cheese and other hot sandwiches! Very delicious and for about the same price as most other sandwiches I can get here in town. In addition to the sandwiches I’ve had my fair share of the cinnamon rolls. Big ones, little ones, fancy flavored ones and regular rolls. Every single one was great, and I really have to try and save some for my wife because they’re so good. The reason that this isn’t a 5 star review is because for the most part the service is ok but not anything great. Several times I have ordered and had multiple people come in after me and get something similar and they got their food way ahead of me. It’s not a major thing, but when there are only a few customers I wold hope that the ones who ordered first take priority. Other that that I think that Mrs Powell’s is a great place to come for...
