The first time I ordered while staying in hotels due to medical order.What they said was A bone steak, but it seemed to be all pieces of gristle pressed together.If I can't masticate it then i'm not gonna swallow it! So then I called the next morning you got ahold to the manager and I just told her I Prefer to have breakfast rather than that. Because that was not steaknow they have some good servers and some good cooks. The short black guy, he's an exceptionally good cook and he listens to what I'm saying, the 2. Black man cook cooks. They do very well okay, so d* The servers or they do a pretty good job. I usually give them a good tip. The manager I don't know what her malfunction is bad is very unprofessional. At the finest level of unprofessionalism, I ordered the brisket on macaroni and cheese. I ordered a side of broccoli and it had onion rings on top. The brisket was Burnt they saying that's how it comes from the manufacturer yuck. So I called her when I checked out the next day after running around and I warmed it up. I was headed out of town. I Express my dissatisfaction with this meal. I mean, the everything was good, but that burnt pieces of brisket. The manufacturer should be ashamed of itself who sells something like that. I was born in Germany and I've eaten brisket every. Type of way. And I've never had any thing that disgusting in my life. So I told her about it. And she's acting dumb. . You know what is she gonna do about it? She's asking me what do I want her to do about it, so she finally, the light bulb light bulb went off in her head and she said well, I will comp u a meal . I said, do you put that in a book? Or how are the people gonna know when I come back? That is what you said you were gonna do oh well, just a call, have them to call me. No I spent plenty of money at Denny's so last night I go out there after calling her in the morning and tell her about the inability. To be able to get my meal replace so I bought. I paid for that dinner. Because Anne wouldn't answer her phone and to manage her on duty. Act like her hands was so tied. I went there to get the meal. After speaking with Anne in same scenario, she didn't tell anybody and I. Decided not to spend my money with them anymore. Now the food that I ordered the night before last. I had some of that When I woke up and the stuff was so salty. It just felt like my Blood Pressure was going up! well Denny's. I have to say Goodbye to you. Because this is very unprofessional. I will be calling Ann this morning to see if I could find my receipt for that salty meal that I had and I would advise anybody if you're traveling through. Read moreWe did not go to Denny's for years because of poor service and low ratings by the health department and others that we know. When the new on Opened we decided to give it a try and the first trip was pretty good and the food was tasty. So we decided to stop by about 9:30pm on a Wednesday night and the service was great and the manager came by to check on us and ask how was our meal. I told him it was very good and we enjoyed it very much and the waitres could not have been eny better, the Coffee was HOT and refilled on a regular basis. The place was packed and she still made sure that out order was right out and HOT. I did not mind tipping her and thanking them for the good service. Now for the BAD Part. We stopped in again on Tuesday evening about 10:30 for a late supper and the service was Terrible. The coffee was luke warm and NO Refills were offered. I ask for Butter for my Grits and finally by wife had to go the the cashier (Manager) and make a second request for the butter. The biscuts were still frozen in the middle. Th Ombett was OK but by the time I got the butter it would not melt in the grits or on the biscuts THEY WERE COLD. I LEFT A TIP but it was not deserved and my wife almost went back and picked it up. The cashier was now another waitress and the Manager was out front I guess cooling off, and our waitress was out front talking on her cell phone. When we complained to the cashier she Stated " I wish you had told me and I could have gotten the manager to adjust your bill". I don't want an adjustment. I don't mind paying for what I get, I just expect to get GOOD SERVICE and GOOD HOT FOOD served by someone that cares as the one did on our Second Visit. Read moreWe visited last night around 1030pm. Apparently it was after a high school football game. It was lots of wonderful kids that were well behaved and respectful. It was refreshing. The place was packed! The staff consisted of 2 waiters for the entire place. They had 3 cooks! It was absolutely ridiculous! The cooks were doing all they could do but the waiter and waitress were completely overwhelmed! They completely ran out of utensils! The general manager needs to plan better! We patiently waited but didn’t get food til about 11:45pm. Our orders were to go orders! Meanwhile, we sat at the bar the tv was on Fox News and I asked could they please change the channel. The waiter said the general manager doesn’t allow them to change the channel nor adjust the air. I said Fox News is inflammatory screaming all sorts or race baiting statements! Trumps on tv inciting people at a rally and we have to sit here and watch this!!!! The restaurant was severely understaffed, the walls have fake wood peeling off with large holes, the air conditioning is leaking onto the floor (trip hazard) and GERMS!!! He should be more concerned with those things! So, in all fairness we came back the next morning since we were camping nearby. They were staffed on day shift. Our waitress Jennifer was great. They were maybe 50% full. We ordered the special the slam. It took over an hour and we were served cold pancakes, cold sausage, and cold thin bacon. We informed our waitress and she offered to get us another plate but we chose not to spend another hour waiting for food. She brought us a new set of hot pancakes which we enjoyed.
