I have a service dog. He is a standard poodle and wears a service tag, even though it’s not required by law. We have eaten there several times without incident but on this day, the manager on duty loudly addressed me across the dining room as I was going to a booth, that dogs aren’t allowed in here. I continued to my seat, as my back was to her and sat down. Her aggressive accusation toward me caused me to have a panic attack. My husband was still at the counter and proceeded to explain that I have need of a service dog, that he’s fully trained and she could issue a refund if there was a problem. After we ate, before leaving, I asked to speak to the manager, as I was able to then. I gave her a card with the ADA laws according to the DOJ that businesses are allowed to ask: 1) Is that a service dog and 2) What tasks does it perform? That speaking loudly enough for those in line to hear at someone with a service dog is unacceptable and uncalled for. The manager argued that this was not what she did, that she didn’t say anything wrong so I calmly gave her the card, explained I only wanted her to be informed and left. I did reach out to their corporate but got no response. I am disappointed to see the owner has responded to other reviews and has yet to respond to mine. This just confirms my...
Read moreBesides the General manager coming from the back of the store and aggressively verbally attacking me about my service dog in front of other customers, causing his jaw to drop and look at me completely dumbfounded at what was occurring things went well enough for us to not return until new management comes in. I have traveled across the country with my loyal BUBBA and never have I had such a terrible experience with any business. Food well it’s Arby’s so it was what was expected. Service was an A+ for the person who helped me at the counter but that fell quickly after the interaction with the manager which left the atmosphere stressful as we were dining in. Probably won’t get a response from the company that owns this store due to the lack of importance on this matter. So if you have a service animal steer clear or be ready to be verbally abused, your choice. Hate to give this review just two weeks prior I rang the bell for the great service. Funny how one untrained bad apple can ruin the bunch. See Bubba at a different restaurant doing his job...
Read moreThis place has gotten a bad rap since they moved. They had some staff issues, as it appears when they changed location, they lost their entire, experienced, staff. The new staff, lets be honest, we're bad at their job (inexperience, they're much better now) and, they were young... unable to handle being in a service industry (which translates to, knowing how to handle rude customers ... which, we have a lot of.)
So for me at least, I was staying away from Arby's but then, I just had to have a roast beef sandwich with Arby's sauce. The taste was in my mouth and it needed to be satisfied.
Went to Arby's and... they did awesome. They got my order perfect, came out fast, the staff was in high spirits and made the visit memorable and positive.
So if you were like me and was staying away from Arby's because of their first week after moving was awful... I say give them another chance. It seems they've got their...
