I ordered Bareburger tonight because my boyfriend really likes the one in his town! He said that the burgers are always large and delicious which made the price worth it. We decided to order on the bareburger app which was fairly user friendly. We got a confirmation email and were told to come pick up our food in 45 minutes. No problem. When I got the the restaurant, I got out of the car to pick up the food while my boyfriend waited out front. I was directed to the back of the restaurant and was asked for the name of my order. I told the person the name and she looked confused and ran off to the back. She came back later with a skeptical look on her face and asked to see my phone. I ran back outside to grab my boyfriend's phone and show her the confirmation on the app. She scrolled on the phone for a while and then asked to see the confirmation email too. It was then that she had to call her manager. After the phone call she said the system must have lost my order. After staring at each other for another moment or two, she said have to write down my order and it would be another 15 minutes. She was polite enough during the interaction, however it did not seem like she wanted to do this. I said okay because we had already paid for the food and waited. When she returned with the food she only repeated "Sorry. Our system just sometimes doesn't get orders." The burgers were good, but definitely not worth the price for me. I added avocado on mine for almost $3 and there were maybe 3 slices and the burgers as a whole were mostly bun. Read moreWe have been coming to this Bareburger regularly as we live close by. We were never crazy about the service here, mostly young wait staff who are very distracted with each other who usually forget to bring to our table something as simple as extra napkins. However, we love the food, so we would come here once or twice a month. Last Saturday, I found a tuft of hair embedded into my French fry. I didn’t know it was there until I put it in my mouth and I felt something funny. We immediately alerted the hostess who called the manager over. He apologized and gave us replacement fries. He also gave us 2 of our kids’ meals for free. However, he never came back to see if our replacement food was ok or just to see how things were going after the hair incident. I know he has seen us there frequently and we felt like he didn’t care to provide more “damage control” after the incident. Our waiter also never said anything about the hair. It was a relatively slow time of the evening and he spent the majority of the time talking and laughing with the other wait staff rather than bringing us 1) napkins we asked for 2) my husband’s cream for his coffee that he said he was bringing.
My sister who also lives locally brought her daughter who is severely allergic to dairy to the same Barebuger and asked for a hamburger. The waitress brought her a cheeseburger. Read moreI hate to write negative reviews but this one is a long time coming. My kids and I have a gluten intolerance and are plant based so we enjoy the variety on the Bareburger menu. Unfortunately the last 7 times we've eaten there/ordered take out we have had multiple issues with each order. Every single take out order has been wrong AND missing parts of the order. This time it was fries and two of the meals were wrong (things on it that shouldn't have been, wrong burger). We don't live close to Bareburger so we try to order ahead and pickup. We can order an hour ahead and they still don't start cooking it until we get there. When we have called about missing food we have encountered issues where a refund was refused and we were told to come pick up the missing food (again, we live half an hour away). Even the one time we received a refund because we were missing 3 orders of food from a large order and all the sauces, they only refunded the menu price of the 3 burgers, not the tax or all the sauces we paid for. We've frequented 3 locations so this is a widespread issue. It seems that Bareburger is about stealing money and giving low quality orders. If you're going to order or eat there, triple check everything, make sure you're only charged for what the menu says (we've been charged for sauces despite the menu saying a certain meal included a sauce 5 times over).
