Did a take-out order because from previous experiences if you dine in and eat at the restaurant, they always manage to make you wait an hour for your pizza even if there is no one else in there. On my to-go order, I ordered a XL 1 topping pizza and picked it up they charged me $35 for it! For just one pizza! I hadn’t been here in about 2-3 years but the pizza went up in price by $10!!!! It’s great tasting pizza but sorry there is a LIMIT to what I’ll pay for take-out pizza …that’s just PURE GREED ON THAT PRICING. NEVER AGAIN from Round Table, they WERE a favorite of mine since childhood but NOT ANYMORE their prices are simply too high. There are too many other places (like Antonious, Straw Hat and many others) that make wonderful pizza but won’t make you spend $30 for an XL (which btw, a “16 XL is considered on the small side as most places that offer XLs are usually “18-“20 pies) …on top of all that, they were EXTREMELY STINGY WITH THE CHEESE, almost barely any on the pizza, all in all the pizza was an absolute OVERPRICED RIPOFF. Nice employees working there but not high quality on the construction of the pizza and usage of ingredients (if any) and they really have a bad business model that is obviously based on over-charging the customer and skimping on ingredients. Over time, the quality of the pizza just goes down from there. That was likely the WORST Round Table Pizza I have ever had in my life and will probably be the last too. Just awful. Read moregThey seem to have recently outsourced calls to a call center so you cannot even contact the store itself if you try. I placed an order, got the text that it was "delivered" and saw it was not. Called the call center because thats where the number goes now and was told to wait because it still showed as out for delivery even though I had a confirmation showing otherwise. Was told this 3 times over an almost 40 minute window until the store closed even though I had confirmation showing it was no longer "out for delivery" and the number went to busy signal until next day. This meant that I would absolutely not get my food that I ordered and paid for. Had they just remade my order and delivered it properly at this point there would have been pretty much no issue. I even made an attempt to retrieve my order from where it was shown in a photo about a half mile away (as in nowhere close to me) but nope wasnt there. Tried calling the next day to get a refund because I had received literally nothing but kept getting bounced between supposed call center supervisor and disconnecting store line. Tried again the next day to be told someone would contact me that day, they did not, nobody did. Tried again the next day to be out on hold while connecting to store and literally 4 times in a row just disconnected after I called to try to connect again each time. Read moreI have been coming to this RTP for 10+years. They have the best pizza in town and employees are genuinely happy to see you again. Today was totally off! Arrived at this location at 11:15 a.m. it was closed. Called the RTP number lady ask me if she could take my order i asked her if the restaurant was open. She stated yes. I said why are the doors locked. She said "oh" please hold. Came back to the line to say someone is coming out to talk to you and hung up. This employee comes out and is speaking to another lady saying that he is training and should'nt even be there. And that he wouldnt be able to open up and take orders until 25-30min because register is not set up. And that she could get mad at him if she wants. The lady polietly tells him i ordered pizzas online for a bus load of students that were just dropped off and are here. We can wait till you set yourself up but can we wait inside? He said ok.
