Starbucks — Restaurant in Roanoke

Wouldn't recommend this Starbucks to anyone. Ordered 7, identical drinks via the app, 10 minutes before arriving and I was not in any type of hurry. In fact, I had time to wait. I pulled up and said I had a mobile order. Immediately, at the window, I was told with a lot of attitude I should order way beforehand if I'm going to get that many drinks, because it was too many and it was going to be really hard to make. I said I was alright with waiting and that I was not in a rush, and that I was actually trying to burn some time, but then I got even more of an earful. There was so much irritation being thrown at me that I decided to cancel my order, because I was afraid I'd have spit in my drinks.

I was then told the manager would have to cancel the order and I said that was fine. I was hoping the manager would inquire as to why I was canceling, but the manager immediately gave me attitude too and didn't even venture to ask. The manager actually then acting like it was a pain that I was wanting to cancel. I'm so sorry I tried to give you money to get some drinks, which is what your business is supposed to do! Anyway, I just quietly let them cancel my order and went on my way.

This is the third time I've had an experience like this at a Starbucks. It's really sad. I'm 31, so I'm not some old person saying this, but people my generation and younger get angry if they have to do any work. And if you're the cause, get ready for irritation to be thrown your way....

Manager is getting onto employees for “too much milk” apparently margins are “stretched thin” at this multi million dollar company. I always order a splash of oatmilk in my iced espresso every morning. I always go to the valley view location but today i stopped by this hershberger location… Never have i ever been asked to pay extra for my drink to filled all of the way with milk… upon searching it up online i am not supposed to pay extra for drinks modified with a splash of milk. I don’t know what it is about this location in particular but 9/10 experiences just have been disappointing. Save yourself disappointment and go to the valley view location where the employees are sweet every morning and don’t get defensive over milk. The employees here are just kinda rude and thats the last thing you want to experience in the morning on your pre-work...

The staff is always wonderful and very kind. But today I was on my lunch break and I decided to go get something to drink with my girlfriend. I paid for my order in cash and the manager told me I had given him a fake bill and was kinda rude about it and caught a really bad attitude. I concerned asked him for the bill back so I could take it to my bank that is across the street because I had literally just gotten it from the ATM, then I paid with another bill. The tellers at the bank later told me that the bill was not fake and that the manager had no clue as to what he was talking about and that his attitude was uncalled for.
