I tried this project based on the reviews and was not impressed. The lady yesterday was on the phone (sounded personal conversation) didn't even place them on hold or told them I call back I got a customer. I knew what I wanted, which was the Paul's special. The eggs was good, the sausage didn't have no taste to them at all, and the home fries was barely done. She had appeared a mountain of bacon in corner on the grill. Most places would cook that to order, it only takes a few minutes on a flat grill to cook. So I'm going to guess that the bacon will be full of grease just sitting. We love this little place. It is a true mom and pop operation with mom running the grill and pop making the sandwiches. The food is great. They have one great waitress that runs the whole place. She is always friendly and very efficient. The place is fascinating since there are a bunch of regulars that enjoy the place. We have only been there a couple of times but we've always felt welcome and enjoy the food. The gyros and baklava just might be the best in Virginia. Has seriously degraded since the pandemic. Prior to that, we visited regularly. In my most recent trip, the place was comparatively empty for peak lunchtime, and the food quality was quite poor,. Only one overworked waitress, and one of the most obvious federal informants in the county.
