Sam's Bagels & Deli — Restaurant in Rochelle Park

This place is terrible. I've order the same order there every time I come and not once has it been the same price, it's like they pick and choose what the price will be when they feel like. Everything is overpriced and seems extremely sketchy when I get different prices every time and no receipt is offered. The one time I got a receipt it was stacked with numbers and they couldn't tell me the prices for anything standalone on said receipt. When they got my order wrong it was my fault they couldn't hear me on the phone. When normally a place will review your order before hanging up. Also forgot to mention they refused to fix the order once sandwiches were paid for it was basically in my hands to deal with them giving me the wrong order. I also ask for my bagels toasted as many do and it's almost like they refuse to toast my order. Second time this week I ordered and told them PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU TOAST THE BAGELS AS THEY WERE NOT LAST TIME. and with no surprise the sandwiches were not toasted. Will not be ordering from this place again....

This is the BEST bagel place in the area! I'm originally from Bergen County and recently came back from the west coast (where whatever it is they are calling bagels, are just not even close to meeting the mark.) I was hoping we'd be living near a good bagel spot, and thankfully we are! The bagels here are superior in quality, the bagel sandwiches are made quickly and skillfully, we've also had their omelettes which are not only delicious but a generous serving size too! The food is made within very reasonable times no matter how busy they are, the prices are very fair (especially for the quality) and MOST of all, the folks who work and manage this place are AMAZING. Not only do we get great service with a smile, but they treat you like friends upon your first visit, and make an effort to really get to know you without holding up the line. LOVE love...

Man where do I even start. I was visiting here from Europe and came in with a family of 15 and they served us the softest bagels I have ever tasted. Although they’re always busy because it looks everyone drives from the end of the state to get here, they really get our order quicker than the bagel place across town. At one point I even saw one guy stack 4 breakfast sandwiches before I could even get my wallet out to pay. They even let my dog come in because he gets lonely outside! Staff treated us like we we’re their own kids and it was the best and funniest experience. They always have those go-to regular sandwiches that I love to eat but it’s pushing me away from my goal of becoming a male model. Definitely...
