Inzombia Coffee — Restaurant in Rockford Township

Best coffee and donut in town. The raspberry filling in the filled donuts is made with real berries, not just flavored goop like the chains. The pastry dough is fresh and fluffy for all their baked goods. The cold brew has a bold, distinct roast - I absolutely recommend if you prefer lower acidity coffees.

Aside from the fantastic snacks and beverages, the staff is incredibly comfortable and friendly. They genuinely care about customers’ input and experience, and do their best to host a comfortable space for anyone who finds their lovely little shop.

The walls are lined with nostalgia and love. Even the radio station is a throwback to early 2000’s pop culture glam. If you want the ambience of Nintendo and snack cakes with your best friend in their overdecorated bedroom, this is the place to caffeinate. You can even play Mario cart on the couch!

I tried their new location inside of Rock Valley College, and it was very disappointing. The atmosphere is nice, but I waited almost an hour for my order (they were very busy) before having to ask what was going on. I was asked what I ordered by the person who had just taken my order. I paid almost $13 for a 16oz chunky iced matcha that just tasted like milk and a plain bagel with cream cheese. I attempted to contact them for a small catering order recently and could not get a response from anyone via phone, email, or Facebook for over a month. Service and quality definitely leave something to be desired. Would love to support this local business if they make improvements...
