Why do I keep putting myself through this.
I have easily eaten here 100 times. I really like a few of their salads but the inconsistency in food preparation is terrible. I had a young brunette woman help me this afternoon. This was the same employee that helped me last time I was in. I had to tell her what was in my salad and also explain what a Brussel sprout was. She tried using broccoli and cauliflower instead. Then she added the goat cheese before mixing the salad and it gets absorbed by the dressing. Today, she got all the ingredients right but didn’t use enough of them. The bowl was maybe filled 60-75%. The dressing was too much for the amount of ingredients in the salad. While checking out I pointed out that the bowl was not full. She asked for the $15.63 and ignored my comment. I paid and told her I wasn’t coming back. She told me to have a nice day or thanks for coming in or something like that.
I have experienced everything from uncooked rice almost breaking my teeth to salads having so much dressing that it’s a soupy mess. The portions are never the same.
It’s hilarious, they ask you how many swirls of dressing you want in your salad. Some employees do fast swirls and some are slow. Bottom line, you just don’t know how much dressing you are going to get. If there is one thing I would recommend it would be to measure out the amount of dressing that is used. Right now, It just depends on which employee you get.
Don’t dare go in close to closing time. Half of the ingredients are gone and you have to substitute many items. Should I not expect the same service at 8:45 vs 6:00? Maybe there should be a discount if coming before closing?
Am I asking too much? I pay twice as much here for a salad than some other places. The ingredients are good and 50-75% of the time the salads are good and...
Read moreI don’t come here often since the food is rather pricey, but this situation has happened more than once here. When I walked in, there was a line of people waiting and no one helping them. A girl comes from the back and says they were completely out of To-Go bowls and apologized to the lady for the wait. When it was my turn, I ask for the #squashgoals. She starts getting everything together in two separate kids’ bowls to supplement for not having regular ToGo bowls.
At the end, she starts looking around through the cooked veggies and finds out that they’re out of squash. She lets her manager know and she just responds “I guess I can make some if you really want” as if I’m being extremely inconveniencing to them. If I had known that there was no squash for the #squashgoals salad, I would have switched my order. I thought about going ahead and switching, but the salad was already 90% made and there was still a line from the wait for the search for bowls. I did not want to hold up everyone else and I just wanted to get home. So I substituted the squash for Brussel sprouts and cauliflower, but she said I’d be charged extra for the cauliflower in my attempt to make up for the lack of squash. So I had the #brusselsproutgoals. I don’t recommend this. Does not pair well with everything else in the salad.
Great fresh ingredients…. But if I’m going to spend almost $20 for a salad, I’ll make a trip to McAlister’s instead for a better price the salad I want and better service where I don’t feel like I’m...
Read moreI am very disappointed. I have never written a review before, after my first visit I planning to but never got to it however after visit on 11/3 I figured I needed to write one. I had a lot of hope for this restaurant however I was sadly let down. I first visited this establishment a month or two back. I went in for a late lunch and was immediately met with a line to the door. I was confused until I saw there was only one girl, who looked to be in her teenage years, working the entire line. Her name was Natilee and there was no one else to been seen. Even though she was very clearly overwhelmed she was very kind and helped me select something that was very good. On Thursday around 6:00-7:00 me and my wife decided to try again and get dinner there. Yet again, the line was to the door and I quickly noticed the same thing was happening. Another girl who looked to be a teenager was all alone with a full line of people. Except this time you could hear voices talking and laughing in the back. She was noticeable stressed out but still kept the line moving fast. I believe she told me her name was Sidney. My wife and I sat in the lobby to eat and we had pretty much up finished our meal by the time anyone else came up to help. I do not blame these two workers, However I do blame this company. For a company growing so fast they need to have more staff, staff that actually cares and take care of their employees. I will...
