Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Rockwall

The pizza wasn’t good: there are better pizza options anywhere else. However, I wanted a crispy thin-crust.

I did get that; however, the pepperoni was an odd flavor. Almost like it went bad or something? (I don’t know—it was sour!)

I probably will not be returning to this location. On top of the pepperoni having an odd taste, the pizza was cold when I picked it up. Almost like it had been sitting from some other person ordering it, but then deciding not to pick it up. That was really odd, considering I was over 5 mins early picking up the pizza. It was at the quality of a competitors $5 hot and ready, but it wasn’t hot.

The location is easy to get to. The parking lot is fine, but it looks like there is only two spaces for POA johns, since the nail shop next door has all the other spaces marked as foe their customers only. Seems like there is a parking dispute here.

Also, my pepper looks like someone here snacked on it?...

I got delivery so I can't speak to atmosphere. I've had the heart shaped pizza the previous two years, however it's the first time I've had it at this particular location since moving back to Texas. They did an excellent job, it had just the right amount of tomato sauce and cheese, and a nice crispy crust by the time it got to me. I crave papa johns pizza sauce, its so good. It was delivered warm which was good as I always preheat my oven just in case it's not. You can add extra toppings as well, you don't have to just have pepperoni, so I added mushrooms too. I was very pleased indeed! When you know you're going to go over your calories for the day and not hit your Macros it's nice to know that what you're spending your money on, and using up your daily calories for, is worth it, and Papa John's has been consistently worth it for years, even across multiple locations.

I have ordered 3 times from this same place and each order is delivered without the sauces that I ordered and paid for. When I call all I get is oh, sorry. This last time which is today I ordered and had it delivered and of course I order sauce and there was none. I called and asked why it wasn't with my order and the guy say um i don't know, so I paid for a delivery and $7 for a tip just so I could go up there myself to get the sauces I purchased. Whats the point of ordering it and it being on your order if they are not going ti send it with your food!! Well I gave you 3 chances and now, I'm done ordering from papa johns in Rockwall. When I showed uo to puck up the rest of my order I asked why was it missed, and I get um well I just got here so.. but I'm sorry. Well I'm sorry too, poor customer service and I'm done ordering from you. Those sauces...
