I visited Starbucks drive thru yesterday early evening 2/24/2014. I perceived the man that was working the drive thru to be rude and unprofessional. When we pulled up to the drive thru this young man was rude to us. (He was training another young man on the register, he was not wearing a name badge but he had brown hair and was youngish -late teens early 20's maybe and had a raspy voice)... he inquired in a VERY RUDE voice whether we wanted our drinks iced, when we had clearly ordered them that way. We then presented our complimentary drink vouchers (which we had received from the Starbucks location in Rockwall off Ridge Road being "out of soy milk" the last two times we went to the store). This raspy voiced non-badge wearing "trainer" then set an even more unprofessional example by hasseling us about our drink vouchers. He acted rude and like he was put out by them not having a store number stamped on them. I asked him if there was some type of problem, and he was rude again and said they would have to re-ring the entire transaction because we were using the vouchers. The young kid he was training was nice and just quiet while this Starbucks employee was rude, confrontational, and unprofessional with us. We received 2 drink vouchers because of the other starbucks in town being out of soy milk on multiply occasions. Now at this starbucks the employee was rude when we tried to use...
Read moreI stopped for a medium cup of coffee, made a certain way for low carb purposes. After waiting behind several cars for several minutes, I expected it to be ready. The girl took my $7.47 (!!!) and said that it would be just a minute. After waiting for quite sometime, I got the coffee and pulled away. At the first drink, I knew it wasn’t my order. I had gotten part two of someone else’s order. So, I turned around (no easy feat that involved two frontage roads, but for that price, I was doing it) and drove back...and got back in line behind four other cars...again. When I got to the order board I told the guy what happened. He said, “We’ll remake that for you.” To which I replied, “Okay.” Long pause...then I asked, “Would you like to know what I had so you can make it?” “Oh, yeah. Go ahead.” So, I finally pulled up to the window and two girls were standing there. “You had a great peak.” “I don’t know what that is, “ I replied. I told her what I ordered, was handed the coffee, assured that it was right, and drove away again. Yes, the sticker was correct, but the coffee was not. Is it too much to ask for someone to make what you order for the exorbitant cost of $7.47? Also, are Starbucks employees trained to be annoyingly perky? I would rather that energy be extended to making...

I pulled up to the window and I can see employees inside and no one bothered to say they where closed either . I called the store as I sat there and she said she was the store manager who I was talking to letting her know people aren’t aware that they are closed since there’s no signs up in drive and the entrance isn’t blocked off like usual when they are closed. She said there was a paper in the door at the entrance of Starbucks on the other side and she stayed wasn’t visible to drive threw and i Said yeah it’s not you have alone of cars behind me waiting as well and no one is aware or saying anything to us waiting . She then hung up on me . I usually don’t like to complain but that is bad service it’s New Year’s Eve and I have things to still go out and do to prepare for this evening and me sitting in a closed drive threw with a line of other people waisting my time is not one of them .
