The time was 8:37pm. I had ordered one homestyle chicken sandwich (with only tomato and mayonnaise), two double chocolate chip cookies, one baked potato, and a junior frosty. I was informed at the speaker that they didn't have any baked potatoes at the time. I went to the first window and asked if my junior frosty was free. Cashier #1 said no and I informed her that I had the key tag (which allows me to be eligible for a free Junior frosty with any purchase). She got cashier #2 and they do something on the computer. She read my total again and I still thought it was too high. As I got to the second window, I looked at my receipt and informed cashier #2 that my junior frosty was not free. I asked her why since I had the key tag and she basically just said that she could not do it from the second window because there's no money in the register. When I thought the whole reason for her coming back to the first window was to fix that. (Side note, after I had received my food, I overheard cashier #2 taking an order and explaining that they DO have baked potatoes) Anyways, I drive into a parking spot and make sure I have everything. Of course I do not. First of all, my homestyle chicken sandwich had more than tomato and mayonnaise on it, I was charged for a crispy chicken sandwich (when I did not order it), and I did not receive my cookies. I walked into the store and talked with cashier #2. I said I did not receive my cookies. After pointing it out on the receipt that I had ordered them. She hands me three cookies and I'm on my way. I know bad customer service when I see it. I am a manager myself and I know that sometimes it's not always the managers fault on how the cashiers interact with the customers BUT I do believe that the short, hispanic looking, black curly haired "cashier #2" employee needs to be retrained immediately. I'm very unsatisfied with my experience and I will not be returning anytime soon.
PS. When I did go into the store, this male employee walked up to me and asked me if everything was okay. He seemed really concerned about why I had gone inside. I just explained my situation and he was very understanding. Looked to be a regular employee but way better customer service than cashier #2...
Read moreSo with this Memorial Weekend holiday and my traveling as in driving I was extremely exhausted 🥱 and the gas station next door did not have any fresh coffee made (it was farely late after 12 am) and so being famished I stopped at Wendy’s next door to the gas station. After driving all day long almost 10 hours straight I was greeted in the drive through with a most pleasant voice & a smile which I swear this youthful gorgeous young lady named Christine was an Angel in disguise! She was super patient with me/ kind/ caring and just so sweet as I was very exhausted and out of it from the long drive! I told her sorry I was exhausted from long drive and just needed a coffee badly. She actually went as far as to offer when about to close her restaurant to make a new pot of coffee stating it would only take 2 minutes and it would be her pleasure! Wow she is the true definition of someone who is a not only decent young lady but also a difference (refreshing) from other people I’ve encountered in any drive through late night at closing time! I insisted it wasn’t necessary so she then offered me a cold brew and insisted that it was no problem 😉 at all! God Bless you Christine! You may have saved my life! Read moreMarch 2022: We had a suspicion that they charged us quite a bit more than what we were ordering. We asked for the receipt and they refused to give us one. On person told us they'll have it up front, the other said they were out of paper, another had a different excuse. The manager knows they can easily get a new machine if that was the problem. They have company P-Cards(i used to work at a Wendys so I know a thing or two) according to other reviews we are not the only ones with the problem! Clearly they have terrible customer service and management. Not surprised either, I should've made the most recent problem our last. Rather go out of the way to the Hartford location. They may be a bit busier but at least their service is good. We will be contacting Corporate.
Dec 2021: Not entirely sure how they did this but I ordered Bacon Egg and Cheese, #6, and they gave me sausage instead. No biggie so I went back up and told them thy gave me the wrong sandwich. When they gave it back I took a look, all they did was slap some bacon on. Didn't even take the sausage off lol I understand some people would love the extra meat but its not hard to do your job.
