I want to start this off by saying that I used to work in the food service industry, so I hesitate to leave bad reviews, even if I have a bad experience, but this place is so consistently horrible, that I feel the need to warn people about it. To start off with, the food is regularly very poor quality, from consistently stale chips, to hard rice, to fatty, gross meat. I also know several people that have gotten food poisoning from this location. Also, the portions are consistently small. I have had more than one occasion that I got home and could fit all the food in my bowl in half of the bowl. Looking at some other reviews, this seems like a common occurrence. The worst offense for me though, is the rude attitude that most of the staff has. I get that everyone has bad days, but every time I go in, at least one employee is rude to me. They act as though you coming in is annoying, and any time you ask for anything, itās a major inconvenience. I went in today and they were out of nearly everything. Their solution was to serve tiny portions to try to stretch the food until more was ready, and when I asked for them not to do that and told them I had no problem waiting for more food, they acted like I was the biggest inconvenience, with rolled eyes, glares, and a lot of huffing. One girl went into the back and pulled a pan of meat out of nowhere and started emptying it on my bowl. Not sure where it came from, but I ended up with a lot of different kind of meat scraps, not just the carnitas I had ordered. It was super disappointing to spend $30 only for my boyfriend and I to both be hungry afterward. Overall, most people I know drive to the Santa Rosa location to avoid dealing with this location, and Iām inclined to start doing this as well. I like Chipotle, as it is a healthier fast food option, but this location is a waste of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis location just does not keep up with the standards of the other locations in the area. The food is often incorrectly cooked, items are missed (when ordering online) which aren't discovered until returning home with the food, and the rotating cast of people who work there also lacking in any general friendly customer service.
One thing I have run into more than once is this location running out of cheese. I had been standing in line at the store for about ten minutes looking forward to ordering a burrito when one of the servers announced that there was no more cheese and it was only for online orders to one of his coworkers. When I asked him about this, I inquired if there was anymore in the back or anymore that could be shredded and the gentleman at the counter informed me that all he had was available for online ordered. He said something about he only had two trays to get through the night. Like I said this has happened more than once to me and even when ordering online. I usually find out after I've ordered food.
This is like if In N Out ran out of cheese for their hamburgers. Sometimes people run out of ingredients and things happen but it seems like this location doesn't understand how to order enough food for to stock their kitchen for their volume on any given day. I would shrug it off but like I said other locations are much better in all areas and it's frustrating when you have an expectation that chipotle has sit itself. Additionally, when suggesting they talk to their manager about this weird policy, he said "do it yourself."
So rather than waiting even longer and ordering online, I decided to leave and take my money elsewhere.
Please stock your...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNow I know why I haven't gotten something to eat from here in a long time. First visit in over a year, my wife and I decided we'd give it a shot. Got there with about 4 people in line. The wait time was 10-15 minutes. We finally came up to place our order. First sign that things weren't going to go well, the server didn't offer a hello, just a "what can I get you". My wife went first, she's vegetarian and ordered the tofu sofritas. I watched, kind of disgusted on how the server, a young woman, slapped the ingredients into the bowl, so fast I felt she was competing in the Olympics of burrito bowl building, with the final move, slamming a handful of lettuce on top of the bowl and smashing it down onto the guac. Yum....Then it was my turn. Same kind of slam bam thank you ma'am show, flinging bean juice all over. This whole time not a smile or acknowledgement that we were there to get our dinner. Time to check out, asked for Blanco Queso and chips, was told no chips. I asked for the queso on the side and basically they said "what!?" as if I was still ordering chips. I had to "remind" them that they didn't have chips and that all I wanted was the queso...$26.43 was the damage. Took our food home, about a mile away, sat down to enjoy our thrown together bowls and the real kicker happened when my wife, who has been a vegetarian for 8+ years, took her first bite and realized she was eating chicken!! That did it. I drove back that "long" mile hungry and upset. Went in and expressed my dissatisfaction with ALL that I experienced. Really not happy eating a cold burrito bowl and definitely not going back for at least another...
