This is a review is based on experiences over a 1-year period, with 25 experiences being referenced (11 to-go/delivery, 14 sit-down, with an average of 2 main items and 3 appetizers/sides per order).
Wings usually come out warm or room temperature, and boneless wings are almost always under-sauced (both really seems to depend on the day of the week). Over the course of 10 visits, wait times average 27 minutes for an order of wings to the bar (been as fast as 18 minutes, waited as long as 45 before saying anything - at which point, it usually comes out within a couple of minutes). Fried pickles tend to be undercooked 4/5 times (gritty, batter not browned/gooey).
Burgers and sandwiches are usually quite satisfactory in terms of quality and speed. Fries and tots are as to be expected (crispy, but not over-done. Well salted/seasoned). Extras such as chili are paltry in their serving size. An excellent example of this is if you are wanting chili on your fries, expect 2-4 orders of chili topping to match what you would expect to get from other restaurants. To be exact, sauces and extras are 2-oz servings per order - or roughly the same volume as a shot of liquor.
Wait staff and bartenders are very friendly and typically take care of issues without hesitation. Managers tend to shrug things off and make excuses - however, they are friendly and end up fixing mistakes by the end of it.
To-go orders mimick in-house orders in terms of quality control. In addition, 5-out-of-7 orders did not include sauces and extras that are on the order. Burgers often miss an included ingredient, extras such as chili and sauces are typically forgotten, wings (both boneless and normal) are under-sauced (look like sauce was drizzled on top and the container shaken, usually getting dry and large portions of the wings missing any touch of sauce by the time of delivery), and fried sides such as onion rings and fried pickles are not fully cooked.
At the bar, drinks are usually quite satisfactory. I have no noteworthy complaints about their mixed drinks - pretty much the same as any other location. As for beer, some draft beers need their lines cleaned more often than they are - get a musty taste since they are low-demand and tend to sit in the lines for extended period. This has gotten better in the past few months, but has not been entirely resolved.
Overall, the waitstaff and environment perform excellently - especially considering the quality of items they have to deal with serving to customers. Management needs to step up and enforce quality control over the kitchen. Food (when prepared properly) tastes excellent. All of the issues above seem to be based on the staff working that day, and there are a few days where I would have given this place 5-stars with...
Read moreThis was a huge disappointment. Upon arriving (this should have been enough for me to leave) we go to put our name in. She gets name and how many and says it will be a 15 to 25 minute wait... no biggie. Someone comes up and said "no we have booths ready". The 2 of them continue in their own conversation. After maybe 2 minutes I decide to go wait. They have their backs to me so apparently we're done. Get out there and im called back in. "We arent done with you". Wow. Just wow. Whatever, I go back in and finish and wait till we are called. We were sat for half an hour before we ever got our drinks. No alcohol, btw. Waiting on the food was expected however we were there for over 1.5 hours and ended up taking almost all our food home because it took so long. As for the food quality.... nachos - amazing. And truly what earned any stars. We ate those at the restaurant. Great portion of fries. They do not skimp on those. Wings were not the worst I've had but I'll never order them again. No one liked them. We all got wings of some sort and no one ate more than the 1st one. Traditional was dried out and overcooked. I can't speak on boneless because I don't eat them. I had a sweet tea and was repeatedly brought out unsweet... yall, that's poison.(jk) All jokes aside... after the 4th cup I was brought out if unsweet I gave up and figured I just wasn't getting a drink today. All this being said, this place is still new. Maybe after 6 or so months, and they make some changes, I may try...
Read moreAbsolutely the worst service I have ever experienced. Our visit started with overhearing the manager receiving a two-week notice from an employee right behind our booth. The manager joked, “She got pregnant so tip money isn’t enough, now he needs Coca Cola money,” and then laughed about how worried the employee was about passing a piss test for his new job.
Shortly after, we overheard two servers nearby almost in tears because the manager doesn’t help them at all. Then, a hostile, overserved customer at the bar got up in front of the restaurant, yelling loud enough to wake my one-year-old about how ridiculous it was that no one was helping the bartender. The manager escorted him outside but then allowed him back in, where he continued creating issues at the bar.
At this point, we noticed five tables leaving without getting their food and overheard the table beside us say they had been waiting over two hours. Despite all of this chaos, Madison, our server, was the only reason we stayed. She continued checking on us, even though my beers were taking far too long.
It was clear the employees were more concerned about being yelled at by the manager at the end of the night, when the biggest issue was the manager himself. We will not be returning to...
