I have ordered here several times for my wife because she works next door and I must say the experience has always been pleasant, other than it taking a little longer than expected once or twice which is part of it. I have never ate at Shane's and on New Years Eve I told my wife I wanted something different and she suggested Shane's and off we go! We arrive and its about 7:30 PM and we saw that they closed at 8 PM, but the dining room was full and there were several people in line so we proceeded to order. My wife is pregnant and sometimes she orders things that she normally wouldn't and I was surprised when she ask about the hamburgers and abruptly the young lady stopped her and said those take 20 minutes to cook I don't know if they would make it. I saw the look on my wife's face and she said no thats fine. I said no go ask them to make her a hamburger because thats what she wants and you are still open for 30 more minutes. My wife told her no not to worry about it and we proceeded to order something else with Brunswick stew and that was an item that they were out of. Then all of a sudden an older woman walked up to the young lady and told her that her grand daughter didn't like the macaroni could she trade it for slaw, and she then said well whats wrong with it they just opened the bag so I don't think they will give you something else. I was a bit appalled at how she treated this older lady who was very polite and at that point my wife and I decided we no longer wanted to eat at Shane's. To potentially lose a customer for life over having to cook a hamburger 30 minutes before closing time, and replacing a side a CUSTOMER is unhappy with is that hard for your company its not the kind of place I want to give my money to. I don't know if this was your employee who made these decisions or if this is her behavior because that's how things are usually handled, but either way it was wrong to me. I have always been taught you have one chance to make a first impression and I believe that to be true in business and in life. No matter how good your food may be, your service is lacking and I just wanted to bring that to...
Read moreWell we went to Shane's Rib Shack and this is what i can say about this place, We went to order and the person behind the counter said they did not have several things on the menu so she would just tell us what they had for the day someone for get to place an order to get food in, The people was not to good at dealing with customers and the inside was so dirty what food we did get we had to eat out side, So when they brought the food out to us i ask where the fries was because it came with what we had ask for and she said they was out and would not have any until the truck ran. We had to ask for Sauce We had to ask for Napkins we had to ask for almost everything and the employees was hollering at each other across the building, The food we got was very high in price for what we got and it was almost to the point of not being able to eat it, So with this said all i can say is Shane's Rib Shack SUCKS IN EVERY WAY Please take your family to some place good to eat and do not waste you money in this DUMP and they have the Nerve to call this place a B.B.Q Place K.F.C has better food than what we had there and i would rather eat at the Krystal than to ever eat...
Read moreHorrible service from the Manager. My husband had a card for ANY free plate. But she would not honor it. She argued with him and told him it was for the pork plate only because that was what was pictured on the card. He told her it did NOT say free pork plate, but said ANY plate free. She would not budge and told him all he could get was the pork plate. She tried to make it seem like he was dumb and told him, "the pork plate is pictured right there can't you see it?" He was embarrassed and not one to make a scene so he just took the pork plate. We waited about 20 minutes on the food, which I didn't mind as long as the food was hot and fresh. When the food came out the portions were so small it was ridiculous. We had 3 kids with us that ordered kids meals. The amount of french fries on the plates were absurd. I counted and each kid had between 14 and 15 fries. I understand a kids meal comes with a small order of fries, but this was way less than a small order. I had ordered the chicken tenders with onion rings and I had about 6 burnt onion rings. Needless to say we will...
