Hollywood Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Romulus

Ordered with Doordash an hour well before due to close. Confirmation sent to my email order placed and accepted AND FUNDS TAKEN FROM MY ACCOUNT....out of town visiting my boyfriend who moves state to state for his job, this was dinner for him who today is working a 13 hr shift! Check my app order was submitted to a driver...have a drop time of 8:24pm when the driver information and order go MIA from my app and I get an email saying the order was canceled because the place was closed. Called three times to get hung up on. Finally get some rude lady who says my order was canceled because they were busy, tells me she never confirmed the order as I have the email and you just said YOU CANCELED MY ORDER! Tells me she never ok'd it but then says she'd fill the order and I'd still have to wait. No empathy AT ALL. I won't ever attempt to order from here again and will advise any and all of the wives/girlfriends and co workers of my boyfriend, whom are many due to the contract and company they work for here, not to give this place a cent of their hard earned...

I ordered the steak tips.. the salad was good, the steak was terrible and very tough (seemed like round steak), and was basted in a VERY salty teriyaki glaze. No vegetables were offered, just potato or fries. My wife ordered the nachos, they use shredded cheese that does not melt well. Needs to be queso so it's all over the chips instead of gluing everything together like the melted shredded cheese does. The condiment tray was nasty, and the hot sauce bottle was a broken mess. This restaurant is inside the Comfort Inn. As a guest there, it's the only place to eat in the area. I arrived at 8:15pm when there were only two people working, the cook, and the other worker who balanced being a bartender, took orders, served the food, billed the customers, and cleaned up.
