Baker Ben's Donuts — Restaurant in Roseville

Used to love this place as a kid growing up in Roseville. Sadly, I will never return until the owner changes.

Cashier Naheesh was the most disrespectful person. She's also the wife of the owner now. Not only did she blatantly overcharge, but when my ATM card didn't work for whatever reason, she insisted I didn't have any money in my account. I asked if there was a way to type in my card number, and she refused. "You don't have money, machine working," she said, and tapped her verifone machine.

Not only was I mortified by her assumption because my children were with me, but also there were plenty of people at 8:30am. The woman behind me kindly offered to pay for our donuts. I wanted to say "no stop, I can go to a working ATM, it's no big deal". But I held my tongue, and thanked her profusely.

I went to an ATM immediately afterwords, and of course I had money in my account. I pulled out some cash and went back to Baker Bens. The kind woman was already gone. I exchanged a few words with Nahesh, who was still there.

If this company wants to make any money at all, they'd remove her from the consumers sight. Not just for poor hygiene, but because of how awful she is with people. She intended to argue with anyone that day and apparently just wanted to press...

Baker Ben’s Donuts is always a treat! It’s become a regular stopping point for us on early weekend mornings before my son’s soccer games, and it never disappoints. They offer an amazing selection of donuts and pastries, with pricing that’s very reasonable for the quality and variety you get. One of my personal favorites is their croissant with ham and cheese—it’s absolutely delicious and a perfect savory option. Beyond donuts, they also have a wide range of drinks to choose from, making it easy to grab something refreshing to go along with your food. Most of the staff are very friendly and welcoming, which adds to the experience. We have, on occasion, come across one or two staff members who weren’t as mannerable, but overall the service is consistently good and pleasant. Wonderful fresh and delicious donuts. The first bite of my chocolate chocolate donut was so perfect so soft and so moist with incredible chocolate glaze that I couldn't help get out of my car and take my half eatin donut back inside where I told the lovely lady behind the counter that the donut that I had in my hand was without a doubt the best donut that Id ever eatin. It was so good and it was so perfect and I really appreciated such a good product that I wanted her to know it. (Seriously think how early they wake up and how hard they work to provide a good product for customers) What can I say I was greatful and impressed and I thought they should know it. That sweet lady asked me if I wanted another one and I said "Oh well I didn't bring my money in" (I had left it in the car).
