I visited the upper level Auntie Anne's today by Macy's and I have to say, my expectations for a mall food stall are pretty low but this experience made me take the time to write a bad review. First of all, there were 6 employees jammed into this little stall. All standing around in a circle doing absolutely nothing. You'd think with too many employees that would mean there would be pretzels available but no. They constantly kept running out and waiting until they were out to make a new batch. Apparently the only pretzels available were the nuggets although they had the full menu posted. My kids wanted the original pretzel shape so that's what I ordered and the bored sounding cashier told me "they'd have to make them" that's fine I said not knowing I'd be standing there 30 mins later without any made pretzels. They only kept making nuggets and completely ignored my order. They also kept staring at us wondering what we were waiting for until finally I asked when they would be done and I got, "how many did you have", "2" and proceeded to hand me 2 orders of nuggets. I just took them because I wouldn't wait another 30 mins and walked away but I wish I could have asked for the tip I left back. While we were waiting I witnessed these employees watching YouTube videos on their phones on the counter where the food is being prepared and rubbing their hands in their hair without washing hands in between, gross. Hopefully there's an actual manager available to read this and actually manage this location to make changes...
Read moreI wish I could give zero stars. My husband and I were standing in line at the upper level location. It was taking a while but we were not in a rush. While standing there, I started to notice the man making pretzels had NO GLOVES ON. At first I brushed it off, maybe he washed his hands before this. Then in the display window where they keep the pretzel bites, an employee accidentally tipped one over and a pretzel fell out. She then picked it up with again NO GLOVES and placed the piece that fell out back into the cup. My husband and I both saw this happen and his jaw was on the floor. That is so unsanitary and they need to wear gloves. Once we saw that we immediately left. The health department needs to pay...
Read moreI stopped to pickup an order at another store in the mall. I had a gift card I bought previously, so I was planning on getting a pretzel with pickup. I stopped and ordered a cup of pretzel nuggets. When I showed the gift card on my phone, the cashier didn't know how to enter it. The other guy came over, the one with a partial cigarette behind his ear, and asked what the problem was. The cashier asked me what I ordered again. After reminding him, I was told, "I ain't doing all that." I guess there was nothing to scan the code with and the numbers had to be typed in. I stepped to the side not really sure what was happening. He took another order then asked me if I had any questions. Thus, I...
