We come play games at this location every so often as it makes an entertaining date night. Half price Wednesdays are the best, because game chip prices are crazy without the deal. Food has always been good for American Fare, I used to order the chicken and waffles, but can't guarantee if it's still on the menu these days as we haven't eaten dinner here in a long time. Bar drinks are tasty, though! Prize room was really well stocked on this visit. I only dinged the service 1 star because of a negative experience with a games employee fixing a faulty game who reset my progress last time we were there. It was one of those card spitting games and I had a ton dangling and the game errored out and the staff member pushed all the cards back to the back of the coin feed instead of just giving me them. Which may sound bratty, but I spent a ton of credits moving them forward from where he replaced them back to, so it was really disappointing. This particular visit today was great. Not very crowded, and plenty of games in working order and helpful staff in the redemption area.

I want to start off by sharing my reason for the 4 stars vs 5 due to the high prices/low quality ticket prizes (franchise problem). Dave and Busters is located in a pretty great location, reef build, with other shopping areas close by. We parked in the parking garage (free) used the elevator right through the main entrance and went to the upper level. This location was awesome, large, loud even when not crowded, but very clean especially the restrooms. My son and husband spent about 4 hours here on $100. We didn’t have any coupons or specials, but wished I had something to save a bit of money. In total they got around 3000 tickets and my son redeemed them on a whopper cushion, gummy pizza, and an eye mask. While it was pricey, my boys had fun - which was the goal. We would definitely return! We were there on a Friday afternoon and I ventured to the farmers market and to the other shops as I didn’t want to play any games and loved the area! There were plenty of other stores and places to eat if you wanted to do more than Dave and Busters.

Dave & Buster's at The Block is as fun as a casino! It's clean. It has a great selection of games for both adults and kids. The atmosphere is great! The food was pretty good. It tasted better than it looked. But it doesn't live up to the description given on the website -which claims their food is "award winning". It was standard, sports bar, family chain-restaurant food to me. The new potstickers were too spicy. The Hawaiian chicken sandwhich was really good. And the boneless wings were tasty. Service sucked. We visited on a slow, Wednesday night. Service was extremely slow 🐌. Our waitress was miserable and cold. This put a real damper on the whole experience. We were there for a dine & donate fundraiser which our waitress knew absolutely nothing about. She was also clueless as to how to reload a playing card. My son had to track her down and ask her to come take our payment for our check after waiting for almost thirty minutes to pay. Thanks to her terrible attitude I'll probably never eat here again.

Service was subpar at times, but 3 of your staff members did an excellent job ensuring my comfort and sealing the deal of my return.

The good: Steven was an excellent server. He was very transparent about how busy he was, but made every effort to make sure things were accurate, delivered in a timely manner, and checked in with care. He made us feel very special by taking his time taking our meal order, pointing out items on the menu he recommends, and he spared a couple minutes to talk about sports.

Haylee is a guest service and recovery expert. Towards the end of our visit we were reluctant to visit the game store because of an issue my family had earlier in the day. This young lady took care of all our issues in a way we did not expect, but can only give great appreciation for. She politely informed us about some policies your store has and went out of her way to make us feel welcomed again!

The techs who helped my kids were also exceptionally polite and understanding. I could only catch the name of one since he introduced himself to me, and showed me his nametag. Thank you, Devon!

The Bad: It was expected that we'd see some drawbacks in our experience since my family went in on a very busy day. There are a few aspects that were not ideal, and I had to make mental note of because, yes, they were that bad.

My teenage son and my preteen daughter were given permission by myself and my wife to play games with the power cards we bought them. They curiously wandered into your game store, and was very rudely kicked out by a lady in glasses. They were told not to come back unless a parent is present, and this specific associate actually refused to check my daughter out until an adult could be there. This left my daughter near tears. Until I was ready to go into the store, my kids enjoyed some more games, but it was short lived since a handful of the games needed attendance. My daughter seemed fearful asking the glasses lady to help. Thanks again to Devon who happened to see her and intuitively knew she needed help.

When we were finally able to go into the store for prizes, the store was most certainly at its peak time because it was hard to get through people. It was very hard to determine prices of the merchandise because of how much stuff was out of order, and the misplaced labels within the store. Your associate Haylee did a fantastic job explaining that this particular day was the busiest she's seen since the holiday season. I did ask about why my teenage kids were kicked out of the game store, and was assured by Haylee that my children were not an issue whatsoever, but within the game store everyone under 18 does need parental supervision, and it's due to the fragile merchandise. I truly wish this was explained better originally, but the girl we spoke to at the end, Haylee, did an excellent job ensuring our return. She gave us an apology for the miscommunication, thanked us for mentioning it, and gave a coupon for our next visit.

I really hope to see these folks again when I bring my...

Super bummed that this is where my girlfriend was SO excited to go for her birthday… neither of us get any time to ourselves let alone a night of “fun” or especially alone one in celebration.. server mouthed to an expo employee checking on our food and immediately laughed next to us when he motioned that something wasn’t good… half of what we ordered was very clearly sitting out for some time and 3 of 4 orders were supposed to be with fries.. none of our ordered fries arrived until after I asked for just one to be given to us since we were all 90% done with our meals at that point. The server did seem to be trying to check on our meals and was super kind. I get that set in staff can’t always control issues in the kitchen. The staff in general beyond our server Natalya, the girl at the entrance, and the one hostess that sat us was awful… the bartender was BEYOND rude.. I’ve worked in the industry for over a decade at this point. I understand understaffing, I understand being tired and working multiple jobs, and trying to keep a happy face let alone doing your job well… but looking dismissing customers and taking care of multiple others then continuing to chat with co workers then look at the customer you forgot about with attitude and ‘throw’ together a “drink” isn’t service.. if you don’t like being in the industry don’t do it. Clearly there is a distaste with this location and their employees in having any drive to be there and a HIGH lack of employment and HIGH lack of care given to those that show up because it shows in their attitude towards customers. A male server even did his best in trying to help the bartender jumping back behind the bar to let ALL the customers at the bar (of which didn’t have drinks and those that still waited beyond those that had waited so long that they just left) that the bartender would be back and they would be taken care of asap…. $500+ spent tonight and I’m really wishing it was spent on anything else.. I’d do anything to make my partner happy but coming back here to WAY over spend on poor service is not going to happen ever again. I wish we only came here to play games and avoid any employee interaction here. Cudos to the server Natalya for her kindness and being personable with us for the time we were in her section and the server that took action to try and give people a...

Stopped in Friday for dinner and games. Food was terrible we ordered our fair share of things. 2 flat breads 2 sets of wings 2 Mac and cheeses for the kids and a side salad. Best thing was the salads bbq chicken flat bread coated in so much sauce it wasn’t even eatable. Next the 5 cheese flat bread had so much tomato sauce on it that’s basically all it was was dough and sauce. Next was the hot wings. They were coated in so much sauce that as soon as you bit one of them it was a strait cough from spices. 3 different people tried them and said they weren’t even eatable. Our server never even checked on us. We sat there for 25 mins waiting on them check then instead of her taking my cards and handling the bill she hands me her machine without any help. I had to split the check because for a total of 6 things for some reason our bill was 97$. Well I tried to split a payment and then Dave and busters locked up my available funds requiring me to use another credit card, over all the experience was terrible I will never go back there for dinner: it was a complete waste and instead of sending the food back I just paid and left why because it would have taken another 30 mins for our server to handle this task. She had no intention on helping us with our concerns. It’s a servers job to check in on customers a few moments after receiving there food. And instead of it being handled moments after getting our food she let us sit and wait as all the food got so cold that it wasn’t appropriate to send back making us look like fools as if it was because we were full. Nothing but the kids food was even touched passed one bite of each exept the cheese pizza that our son ended up eating. Over all 0 out of 5 if that review was possible go somewhere else then go there for games because there food is trash along with...
