Purely Provisions — Restaurant in Round Rock

I really wanted to love this place and first impression is everything..

I live in Round Rock.. long enough for my 1st and 2nd born to graduate high school here.. with that said, it's really nice to have places like this here because eventhough I like my Starbucks from time to time, I love exploring non chain cafes anywhere I go..

We went on a Wednesday morning and there were 7 of us.. the young lady upfront looked overwhelmed by all of us putting our orders in.. sure we had questions since this was our first time here, but I think it was too much for her.. she couldn't answer most of our questions and kept saying "I guess" or "I think so.." and just stood there.. didn't ask for help or anything..

Food is great.. limited menu, but just enough in my opinion.. once we got our food, we were missing a taco and a side of avocado.. the missing taco was from the very first person in our group to order so I don't know how it was missed.. went ahead and ordered it, paid for it, plus another taco for good luck 😜.. second, order of side of avocado for the breakfast sandwich was missing.. it was quickly taken care of.. and the tacos we ordered were delivered to us outside.. I'm very particular with my eggs, and the over easy egg I ordered on my breakfast sandwich was more like over well.. (see pic)

Space outside was nice.. my fam had the chance to play corn hole while we wait for our food..

I may come back and visit again.. I have a couple of coffee places I frequent downtown RR, so I might add this to...

Their passion for people, their commitment to quality, and their dedication to serving the community with heart were unmistakable.

Whether you’re meeting a friend for breakfast at 7 in the morning in the bright sunroom or enjoying dinner on the patio while the sun sets, Purely Provisions creates a space that invites you to slow down and stay a while.

This place is exactly what downtown Round Rock has been waiting for! As someone with kiddos, its hard to find a place that isn't a grungy bar or restaurant to have a drink and a great meal. Purely Provisions is the perfect mix of family friendly coffee shop and date night hangout. I've been there a few times for breakfast, dinner, live music, and local market days and its been a great experience every time. The baristas are friendly and knowledgable, the coffee is great and the food rocks (try the flatbread or the shrimp tacos... you can't go wrong). At night, the bar team is awesome! Lexi is a delight to interact with and I appreciate the the owners and managers frequently check in with customers throughout their visit. Its really easy to see the hard work, care, and attention to detail that they put in to the space. I have been able to attend 1 or 2 of their market days/nights and I really appreciate that the owners are making a true effort in including local small businesses in the community without making it feel like some bougie exclusive event. All in all, this place rocks and I cannot wait to see what awesome new vibes it brings...
