I decided tonight to try out Kiki’s, on my entrance I was the only customer they had thought they were closing. The sign stated open till 9pm. I was gonna leave but decided to go ahead and eat. Their menu has the normal options as most mexican restaurants do. The friendly waitress suggested I try the El Miguelito. It is a Avocado stuffed with chicken or steak then deep fried served with an enchilada rice and a bowl of Tortilla Soup. The stuffed avocado is amazing will have to try the steak next time. I took the first bite then took a picture of the meal. Rice was mice and fluffy but had a so so taste little bland for me. The Tortilla Soup was wonderful tasting just not hot but warm. The waitress suggested Sopaipillas for dessert cheap price for two. I am use to the fluffy version these were flat squares but tasted amazing. The atmosphere is so so, not something that makes you want to stay and hang out. It looks to be BYOB. I also believe they deliver in town. The over head lights seem to bright need some adjustable lighting. The Spanish music seemed a little loud, they have 1 Big Flat Screen but no volume on it. I will make another visit for sure, like having this little eatery here.

Leaving church the family must have breakfast together and more often than not we break bread eating out. We had tried this restaurant before and the memory was not a good one so we decided to give it another shot. The restaurant is located in a strip mall so parking is not an issue. We walked in and like the first time the restaurant had no customers. The server was nice yet really didn't provide customer service especially since we were the only ones in the establishment. We were given chips and salsa which had an authentic flavor. They refilled the chips and salsa which was nice of our server. Our server also gave us taste of chile con queso which was Tex-Mex style which is not authentic. Our orders were simple, enfrijoladas with eggs, chilaquiles, fajitas and plain quesadillas for Cashew. After placing the order we waited, waited and yes waited same as our first visit. That made no sense for being the only ones in the restaurant. The food was plain and not much of an authentic taste. The portions were small and for $68 for breakfast, along with a tax for using a credit card, this location will not be at the top of our 20 restaurants in North Dallas area.

This is $8 worth of nachos??? 4 chips! This is wild. Never in my life have I seen or ordered nachos like this. It tastes good, but 4 chips… the large order isn’t much better. My husband got it. 10 chips total. Absolutely ridiculous. Edit: The menu doesn’t even say how many chips you’ll get, because anyone in their right mind wouldn’t order 6 chips for $8. 1) our order was incorrect 2) what was correct was disappointing in portion size 3) what was correct based on the menu and portion size was still disappointing in food quality and seasoning, particularly the meat 3) price was extremely high even factoring for 2021 “supermarket prices” 4) I am definitely not interested in attempting to eat at this restaurant in the future

I wish Google let you leave 0 stars. Words cannot even begin to describe my disappointment in this place. I had been to this place twice before, and it was good. However, it's been a couple of years. What I experienced during this visit was un-freaking-believable. I ordered a carne asada plate with enchiladas. First of all, I needed a magnifying glass to find my steak. The owner should be embarrassed serving that to people. It was probably a 2 or 3 oz. steak. (I wish I was joking, but sadly I'm not.) The plate didn't even come with rice, so I ordered a side. That was a mistake. The rice was mushy and gross. I ordered guacamole to eat with the chips. Another mistake. The chips were stale and the guac...I'm willing to bet it came premade from a grocery store where they have no idea how to make guacamole. Bland is an understatement. The beans- I'm pretty sure they counted them out. The enchiladas- I could have made something better at home myself. I thought my plate was bad, but then I saw my sister's. She ordered the beef fajitas. There were literally only 5 tiny strips of meat on the skillet. This place should be ashamed. If you're going to charge me $18 for my plate and $8 for guac, you better actually put food on my plate. I don't want to hear any excuses about inflation. If you need to raise prices because of that, okay. But don't cut the amount of food in half also. If the food is good and portions aren't stingy, I'll pay whatever. This place, though, officially lost my business. I wish I had taken pictures of the laughable plates of food they brought out. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Such a poor excuse for a restaurant. Especially a Mexican restaurant. They don't even serve (alcoholic) drinks. This place ain't it. I've never in my life left a restaurant so upset and...

I honestly feel like even 1 star is pushing it but it's the lowest rating I am able to give. We got the queso with taco meat added and it was extremely watered down-it literally made a sloshing sound in the container. There was no flavor and about a tablespoon of meat added. We were going to look past that but the rest of the meal was bad as well. The chicken in the kids chicken strips was extremely dark, I understand this is to ensure it is fully cooked as it is hand breaded but my son said it was hard to chew and when I checked it was very dry. My husband got the steak burrito-once my husband finally found a tiny piece of steak in all the flavorless refried beans and shredded cheese it was gritty, full of fat, and also had no flavor. I ordered the chicken tortilla soup which had the smallest amount of pulverized chicken at the bottom of the clear container. There were veggies in it so I'll give the establishment 0.5 stars for that but the broth tasted like warm salt water which is fine you aren't a fan of flavor. When I spoke to the manager he said we needed to bring the food back to in his words "give us something." We dont live close so I offered to send proof that I was discarding the food to which he declined and stated that he "wanted his food back." So my husband did take it back and we are currently awaiting a refund minus the tip we had left. Overall, first and last time customers. I can only think that the majority of the good reviews for this establishment are from people who were served the free alcohol they...

The first time I had Kiki's delivered it was absolutely delicious! I had steak fajita quesadillas, Guacamole Salad & Queso Flameado w/Steak. Everything was fresh, good flavor everything I was looking for in a new Mexican restaurant since I was new to the area - I started off by sampling the simpler things! It was so good, I ordered the exact same thing again tonight. This time it wasn't bad, but not like it was the first time. They forgit the Guacamole, They forgot the Flour tortillas for the Queso Flameado w/steak. Last time the Queso did not have Cilantro in it. Thats one reason I liked Kiki's so much - the didn't out cilantro in every little thing they served! You either like cilantro or you hate it - me I hate the stuff! TThat is the one reason i stay away from a lot of commercial places like On the Border, Chuy's, Chili's, etc. Everything they make has cilantro in it!! Tonight Kiki's put Cilantro in my Queso Flameado! It wasn't just a little either - the guac has little in it but you can not taste it - they put a lot in it! It took over the taste of fresh tomato & grilled onions w/steak!! All you could taste was Cilantro. I actually pulled 2 large stems/bushes of cilantro out of the melted cheese &that still wasn't all of it! Don't know if I'll order from them again only because of my dislike of cilantro. I love that items are made fresh, but i also need consistency with ingredients as I do have have a limited diet with a lot of food that is restricted. Are you or are you not going to put cilantro in Queso...
