Absolutely, disappointed and frustrated with the service and staff. I ordered my food at 7:20pm on confirmation stated it’ll be ready 7:42pm. I understand this was during dinner hours so I stopped at Target. Upon arrival I noticed multiple people waiting for take out. I didn’t think any thing of it gave time before I let the staff know my name. After one of the staff members let me know they were backed up and it’ll be out shortly. I waited in my car by this time it was 8:05pm I walked back in the store finally given my food and something told me to check. Order was completely thrown together and wrong. I walked back in gave the staff my food to let them know my order was wrong she gave me an attitude and said well we have been busy. Unacceptable if this is how your customer service is. I waited looked down it’s 8:20pm I was so irritated that my kids and I were hungry I decided I didn’t want to wait any longer. Asked to speak with a manager to get a refund she then says I can’t I have to wait for another manager and then your refund will take 5-7days! Excuse me! Not even a complementary meal or no apology she just stood there as I told her I didn’t want the food. I left with no meal being ready and no money back. I will definitely be calling corporate if this is how you treat your customers. In the mist of it all it was 3 sandwiches nothing special so I’m really confused. Maybe if your staff wasn’t walking around and laughing and playing in the back while making the food you would have orders out on time and...
Read moreI don’t usually leave reviews like this, but I felt it was important to share my experience. I visited the Rowlett McAlister’s on August 4th 2025 around 1 PM with my grandparents and sister. Overall, our dining experience was going well, until we needed to ask for to-go boxes. There was a staff member, she appeared to be in a leadership role, possibly a manager, wearing black pants and a black polo, with brunette/blonde hair tied in a braided ponytail. I tried to make eye contact with her multiple times to ask for to-go boxes, but she actively avoided looking our way, even as she was engaging and checking on other nearby tables. What made this interaction stand out and frankly, uncomfortable was that it genuinely felt like we were being ignored. I hate to assume anything, but the behavior felt very dismissive and left us feeling singled out. It was upsetting, especially because we were just trying to enjoy a meal as a family. In the end, I had to walk up to the front counter and ask the cashier for the boxes myself. This isn’t something I take lightly, and I sincerely hope this isn’t the kind of experience others have to go through. It was disheartening and disappointing. I’m sharing this not out of anger, but in the hope that it encourages awareness and improvement. Everyone deserves to feel welcome, no matter...
Read moreYesterday was my first time at McAlister’s Deli. It took a while for someone to come to the counter. I treated the young lady with a smile and hello how are you and she just blankly stared at me and said what can I get you. I asked a few questions that she didn’t seem to want to answer. I ordered my food and paid. I alway tip after service so I selected no tip on my card as I alway carry cash. A few mor people come in after me and I’m waiting about 10-15 minutes for my two meals. I’m noticing that every single person that ordered after me was served before me as I watched my food just sit in the ready window . Another employee gets to reach for my food and the young lady says something to him and he continues to help other customers . I asked how much longer it would take because at this point it’s been 25 minutes I have waited. She says it’s not done yet. I wait 5 more minutes for her to grab the food that was sitting there ready the entire time . I definitely won’t be back . Service was terrible and my bread was soggy by the time I actually got my food. Would NOT recommend...
