It's common place that a restaurant occasionally messes up an order, everyone knows it. So when we found out that the staff forgot one of the sandwiches in our order, we figured "Guess we better call..." And of course, this was after I drove all the way over there to pick it up, and EXPLICITLY asked the guy at the counter if there was anything missing.
So now I'm driving over there for the second time that night, having just wasted time and gas, and I'm expecting to walk in, get an apology, (Hopefully store credit, if not a refund), and get my sandwich.
Hey, guess what? The guy doesn't know what I'm even talking about when I tell him I'm there for the missing sandwich. He asks for a name, I give him the name from the order. He looks around, says he can't find it. I reply, "It's the one from the phone call you received." He looks at me like I have two heads. Suddenly, a girl hands him the wrapped sandwich, to which he gives both her and I a bewildered look.
He hands me the sandwich, and (I kid you not) ends the conversation with, "Uh... Okay... Bye." and goes back to whatever else he was doing. No apology or anything. And the best part? Food was cold.

Went here and requested a grilled veggie sub; somewhat a deviation from the menu. It is basically the big kahuna MINUS the steak from Jersey Mike's Subs menu. My daughter had it in other Jersey Mike's Subs location. The lady cooking was very nice and made it well. I even TIPPED her couple dollars for accommodating. But just after I paid, the guy who rang me said, NEXT TIME THEY WILL NOT MAKE THE ORDER FOR ME. WOW!?! I was taken back. He said manager does not want us customizing orders. What? Isn't that customer service 101; specially when Jersey Mike's Subs is charging $15+ for the subs. With lot of places offering meatless options, Jersey Mike's Subs refuses to make one. Oh well. When most of the stores are going out of business, keeping customers happy becomes priority 1. Specially when you charge $17 for a sub. I have only been to one jersey Mike's before years ago so I wasn't sure what to get and I ordered a mini sub but I didn't know I had the option of different breads, my boyfriend ordered his and they asked what bread he wanted so I said that I wasn't given an option and could I have the parm rosemary bread, well....the manager or head guy basically yelled rudely at me that I had to tell them what bread I wanted , they don't ask, and because it holds up the line and he gestured rudely at the line behind us. That was just not necessary to get rude and obnoxious so I said sorry I don't come here often and it will certainly be the last.
